About us
Welcome to SD SOCIABLES — where we come to connect, laugh, and enjoy life together!
As one of the original and longest-standing groups in the San Diego Meetup community, SD Sociables offers a warm, welcoming environment for both singles and couples. We’re not a dating group — we’re a social community built on friendship, fun, and shared experiences.
Whether you’re new in town or a longtime local, you’ll find a diverse mix of events thoughtfully curated by our team of dedicated hosts. From lively dance nights, happy hours, and concerts to holiday celebrations, local plays, and outdoor adventures like hikes, walks, and even pickleball — there’s something here for everyone.
Our members are the heart of this group, and we encourage you to:
• Keep your RSVPs current
• Bring a friendly attitude
• Treat everyone with respect and kindness
• Do not use SD Sociables to promote, advertise, or recruit for other groups, events, businesses, or organizations.
Organizers reserve the right to approve RSVPs, manage attendance, and remove members when necessary to maintain a positive and respectful group environment.
Want to take your involvement up a notch? Members are welcome to host events too! If you have a fun idea, we’re all ears.
Be sure to check the calendar regularly and read any updates or messages from our hosts so you never miss a beat. We’re always working to improve and expand the group with your input — because the more you engage, the richer the experience for everyone.
Join us and become part of a community where friendships flourish, laughter is shared, and great memories are made.
SD SOCIABLES — creating lasting connections and unforgettable moments!

Sarah McLachlan - (Video) In the arms of an Angel
"Spend all your time waiting, for that second chance,
For a break that would make it okay...
There's always some reason, to feel not good enough,
And it's hard at the end of the day...
I need some distraction, oh, beautiful release,
Memories seep from my veins...
Let me be empty, oh, and weightless and maybe,
I'll find some peace tonight...
In the arms of an angel..."World On Fire:

• You’ll find these spots by entering through metal detectors on the far left or far right, facing stage. • Security is strict in this area (ELITE Security with red shirts monitors all entrances). • Benches and jetty rocks are available on first come basis (bring cushion or towel). • DO NOT BRING: Chairs or Glass • Bags will be checked. • Food and beverages are allowed🟢 GREEN SECTION (Bring Chairs, No Glass) • You may bring folding chairs, blankets. • DO NOT BRING: Glass • This area is ideal if you want more flexibility or need your own chair. • Food and beverages are allowed.

NOTE: I’ll post my location in the comment section when I arrive along with photos. Stay tuned. You’re welcome to post your location in the event comments when you arrive. The venue fills up quickly and people arrive at different times—so let’s help each other connect and enjoy the show together!
