Sunday Trail Run: Seward Park

Let's see the summer out with a classic Seward Park loop-de-loop!

Starting at Caffe Vita, we'll follow the park boulevard down to the native plant garden, and gaze at Lake Washington views until we leave the pavement for an interior trail loop. Then back to trace the other half of the lakeshore before crushing one last hill! Your reward (outside of the charming views, lovely forest, lake breezes, sense of achievement, etc. etc.) is coffee and pastries!

The closest Link station is Columbia City, and the park is served by several bus lines. Bike racks abound, and there are convenient railings at Vita. Street parking is available.

Note this month's run is the fourth Sunday due to my deteriorating sense of time.
