Whether you're here for a social swing and miss, or looking to reignite your badminton play days, we'd love you to come along and check out Sydney’s most exciting Women’s Badminton Group. We're LGBTIQ+ inclusive and welcome fellow allies.
We're all about increasing female participation in badminton! If you used to play badminton or are looking to give it a go, then we’d love you to join us. We started this group to increase the participation of queer women and lesbians in badminton through an inclusive, friendly and social environment. If you're a beginner, intermediate or advanced player, we welcome and cater for all levels.
Shuttle Swingers aims to be Sydney's premiere LGBTIQ+ inclusive women's badminton group where women can meet new people in an active, safe and social space. For those seeking more regular and advanced play, you'll also have the opportunity to play with our fellow LGBTIQ+ badminton groups.
Come on your own or find a friend you can drag out. We’d love to welcome and invite you to attend one of our fun badminton socials.
Our socials are held on the first Tuesday of each month alongside our fellow HOT SHOTS LGBTIQ + badminton group in Tempe. We also host regular social events and weekend badminton socials.

We love playing badminton and introducing women from all sporting backgrounds to give it a go. Many women who play tennis, squash or even soccer find it a great cross over sport.
Whether you're LGBTIQ+ or a straight woman, or just an ally, everyone is welcome in our club.
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I ARRIVE
Upon arrival, please ensure you check in with a Shuttle Swingers host. Let us know what your experience or level is like. We'll look to rotate you around to play with a mix of people and standards while keeping it comfortable and within your fitness level.

Not to worry, that's what we're here for. You'll learn along the way.
WHAT TO WEAR/BRING
Appropriate and comfortable sporting attire. Badminton or indoor shoes preferred but not essential. General sports trainers are acceptable. Don't forget water. You might need that.
