It’s Pretty Straightforward :
Sign into Zoom using either the link (to the side below) or the Meeting Number and Password below. You will need to wait a few seconds for the host to admit you. It helps if your Zoom Profile and your Meetup Profile match.

9AM - Each person introduces themselves and states what they plan to work on for the hour, your choice, journaling, novel writing, poetry, dissertation…

9:15 - Everyone writes silently for an hour, camera on or off your choice, but all are muted

10:15 (Approx.) - Check in and each person reports on their progress for the hour. You will not be asked to share your writing as this is not a critique group.

Sometimes writing discussion happens. This should be a place to feel supported in your writing.

You will see progress in your writing by spending the minimum of a single hour per week on it. This is your practice/focus time, with no pressure for critique or required reading aloud afterwards.

Join other writers for an hour of focused writing!
6:00 - Arrival and getting seats, drinks, etc.
6:15 - Quick introductions and start writing
7:20 (Approx.) - Finish up and have a brief check-in

If you arrive late, please quietly take a seat and begin writing. At the end of the session, make sure you sign in and let the event host know you showed up.

After the writing session is over, feel free to stay and keep writing and/or getting to know one another. Temple is open until 8pm, and offers a variety of light food items and beverages.

If you're spending too much time THINKING about writing, come join us for a session of focused writing. No one will see what you've written or give you unsolicited advice.

Notes: They have wifi and plenty of outlets, and parking is a little light. It might also be slightly hard to see the signage, but across from Swanson's Cleaners, if that helps.
