- Continue to Franklin Street and turn right (east).
- Head to Stewart Street, then cross to A’Beckett Street heading west.
- Follow pedestrian signage into the lane that leads directly to 63 A’Beckett Street.
If you are late no issue. It will take us a little to settle in.
Come hang out at Marché Board Game Café! Melb CBD MEET AT JUST BEFORE 3PM SUNDAY.
COST IS :$27 dollars per person for 3 hours including 1 drink . Stay as little or as long as you like. Enter to cashier desk, say with SIDEQUEST GROUP, pay, get a drink. Details below how it will likely be run
A GREAT CREW IS GOING: when you arrive mention you are with SIDEQUEST crew - pay; get a drink and they will seat you in our area. likely tables of 4 each and a rotation of games
GAMES MARCHE THOUGHT WE MIGHT LIKE
Bomb Busters, is a cooperative deduction game about cutting wires to defuse bombs. We can split in to smaller groups and play different games then swap or play together, something like Avalon or Secret Hitler. Will be fun
HALF YOUR TABLE SWITCHES GROUPS POST GAME : The idea is: we are seated in groups of 4 likely and after the first game; HALF YOUR TABLE REMAIN SEATED AND THE OTHER HALF (2 or 3 people) UP AND MOVE SEATS TO ANOTHER TABLE for example 2 people from each table move seats so there are new faces each round of games playing (this way we get to meet most people).
So after game 1. The Golden Rule
👉 People move clockwise → (A → B → C → A)
👉 Games move counter-clockwise ← (A ← B ← C ← A) So table A games goes to table C etc.
Different games will finish slightly earlier or later but that's fine. it is 3 hrs so breaks and chances to chat in between whilst we wait etc
BRING YOUR BEST SMILES FOR A GROUP PHOTO (cringe I know) as it helps us get more group interest and people to the next events. That's it. Sorry for the over communication this past week to kicks things off and get to know who is who (it's a one off, promise)
EXTRA DRINKS OR FOOD - if you get extra drinks or want snacks pls pay for it directly let's not get in to awkward tabs and bill splitting.
---------------------------------
@ Marche we’ve got long tables, stacks of games bubble tea, and snacks to keep us going. No experience needed — just join in, roll the dice, and have a laugh. Perfect chill spot for meeting new people and trying something fun on a Sunday
