🚀 From the moment we take off, this trip is packed with breathtaking landscapes, cultural discoveries, and unforgettable moments. We’ll explore Broome’s stunning coastline, pearl-rich history, Indigenous traditions, and spectacular natural wonders—all at a relaxed pace, with plenty of time to soak in the beauty around us.

### 🌅 Journey Highlights:

✔ We'll be in Broome to witness an early morning Total Lunar Eclipse 🌕 - a rare celestial event where the moon turns a deep red as it passes through the Earth's shadow.
✔ Kabarli Lookout – A scenic vantage point offering spectacular views of red rock formations and the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean - a beautiful place to pause and take in the landscape.
✔ Beachside Tapas & Cocktails + Dinosaur Adventure Cruise – Our evening begins with a relaxed gathering at a beautiful beachside spot, where we’ll enjoy cocktails and delicious tapas. Then, we’ll set sail on an expert-guided cruise to view real dinosaur footprints fossilized in the rock—a truly unique experience!
✔ Staircase Markets
✔ Staircase to the Moon – We have three opportunities to witness this rare lunar illusion, where the full moon rises over the tidal flats, creating the illusion of a staircase leading to the sky. A must-see natural phenomenon unique to Broome!
✔ (Optional) Walk to Broome’s Sunken WWII Flying Boats – At a very low tide, we’ll have a rare chance to walk out to the ghostly remains of World War II Catalina and Dornier flying boats, a haunting and historic site resting beneath the waters of Roebuck Bay.
✔ Pearl Lugger Tour – Learn about Broome’s fascinating pearling industry, hear the stories of the dangerous early days, and see original luggers up close.
✔ Japanese Cemetery – A moving tribute to the Japanese pearl divers who lost their lives while working in Broome’s perilous pearling industry.
✔ Gantheaume Point at Low Tide – Before sunset, we’ll explore the stunning red rock formations, where hidden rock pools and ancient dinosaur footprints are revealed when the tide is low.
✔ Stunning Cable Beach Sunsets – No Broome trip is complete without watching the sun sink into the Indian Ocean at one of Australia’s most famous beaches.
✔ Township Strolls & Historic Chinatown – Soak up the charm of Broome’s past as we wander through Chinatown’s boutique shops, cafés, and historic landmarks.

🌊 Exploring Dampier Peninsula – A Two-Night Escape to Remote Beauty
We venture north to the Dampier Peninsula for a 2-night stay at Cygnet Bay Pearl Farm, home to one of the oldest Australian-owned pearl farms.
🏕️ Our Stay? We'll be glamping in Eco Glamp Tents with private ensuites, just a short stroll to the beach - perfect for a morning or sunset walk.
✔ Pearl Farm Discovery Tour– We'll go behind the scenes to learn how pearls are cultivated, witness live pearl seeding, and uncover the craftsmanship behind these ocean treasures.
✔ Pearl Grading Class - Learn the art of grading pearls by luster, size and shape, gaining a deeper appreciation for what makes a pearl truly valuable.
✔ Sunday Island Cultural Tour – A Bardi Jawi Guide leads us on a half-day marine and land adventure, where we’ll explore the stunning waterways, mangroves, and coastal wonders of Sunday Island. Plus, time for a refreshing swim!

🍽️ Dining & Meals – A Taste of Broome & Flexible Options
✔ Three restaurant dinners included – A chance to savour Broome’s unique cultural flavors, dining together at handpicked restaurants to experience the town’s best local cuisine.
✔ On other evenings, I'll pre-book a few favourite dining spots so we can enjoy Broome's best local eateries together - those who wish to join can simply pay their own way.
✔ Flexible self-catering for other meals – Enjoy breakfast your way—grab a café breakfast or pick up supplies from Woolworths to enjoy a relaxed morning meal in your motel room.
✔ Lunch options vary – Some days will have free time to explore Broome’s cafés, while on others, we’ll prepare picnic lunches to take with us for full-day adventures.
