Rummel Lake Trail Snowshoe

Description:
With all the fresh snow this will be a beautiful snowshoe in the mountains! Snowshoes are mandatory so we can all stay together as the snow will most likely be quite deep. No beginners please.
- Distance: approx. 11km
- Elevation gain: approx. 450m
- Difficulty: moderate
- Number of hikers: approx. 8 (no beginners)
If you sign up, but cannot attend, please remove your name from the list by 10am Saturday. If you cancel anytime after 10:00am Saturday or don’t show up (without contacting me) you will be marked as a “no show”. This is visible to other organizers and may affect your chances of attending other hikes.
Snowshoe rentals: Outlaw Sports/Rapid Rent; University of Calgary.
Secure rental 24 hours in advance.

Meet up time and location:
8:00 am @ Shouldice Park and Ride Lot
We will carpool from here.
Drivers: a Kananaskis Pass is required
Trailhead: along the Smith-Dorrien Spray Lakes Road (HWY 742) and directly across the access road to Mount Engadine Lodge. No official parking area.

Waiver: You must sign our club waiver before you are allowed to go on this trip, and provide an emergency name and phone number. Waiver will be provided at trailhead.
Your participation in this event means you have read the waiver and by signing up for this event you have accepted the waiver. If you have stated "no" in your profile you will not be accepted to participate.
