SmArt Drawing and Sculpting from the Figure

Hi everyone,

I wanted to let you know that I’ll soon be closing my Meetup subscription, on 4th June, so this group will soon no longer be the main place to find my life drawing sessions, sculpture clubs, and other creative events. Meetup has been a lovely way to gather people together, but it’s time for me to move everything to a system I can manage more easily.

From now on, a booking site for all tickets and upcoming dates will be available on my website:

From June 5 th I’ll also be posting updates and linking ticket access on :

• And venues such as Yardley Arts and Raw Umber will continue to advertise sessions held there.

It is a relaxed and friendly untutored life drawing group, which meets fortnightly on a Saturday. Different events, models, timing and themes, good lighting and careful design. Max 14 people with the model and myself.

Whether you're a seasoned artist or just starting out, this event is perfect for anyone looking to enhance their creativity and artistry. Basic materials, paper and easels will be supplied along wit as well as copious amounts of tea, coffee and biscuits at the beautiful light inspiring studio at Yardley Hastings.

Life Modelling Sculpture — 4‑week block

Join me in my own studio for a short, focused life‑modelling block designed for figurative sculptors and anyone who loves working in clay.
This is untutored, so you’ll need to be comfortable working independently — it’s a lovely chance to explore quick clay sketches at your own pace.

My studio is compact but will be set up with modelling stands and a turntable for the model, giving you great viewpoints and plenty of angles to work
Small group max 8 which is 7 plus me

Please bring all your own materials — clay, baseboard, tools, and anything you need to wrap and transport your work. You’re welcome to leave pieces in the studio between sessions.

Tues mornings: 1 June -22 June
£100 for the block
