Walk downtown Roanoke 5 km (3 miles) with Dinner and Christmas Lights!
Details
Walk 5 km in downtown Roanoke, seeing the Hotel Roanoke with its Christmas trees, the City Market, the Texas Tavern and other landmarks. We will start at and return to the Virginia Blue Ridge Visitors Center, just across Shenandoah Street from the Hotel Roanoke. After finishing the walk, we will carpool to the Grandin Theater area, where we will have dinner at Grace's Place Pizzeria. Link has menu.

After dinner we will walk past homes in the Raleigh Court neighborhood with lovely Christmas lights and decorations.
Meet us in the lobby of the Virginia Blue Ridge Visitors Center, or, to carpool from Westlake, meet walk host Ron Jones at 2:15 pm in front of New York Pizza, 13314 Booker T Washington Hwy Moneta VA 24121. Ron will be by his car in the parking lot. Walk cost is $2 to defray admin expenses, but those wanting AVA walk credit pay $4 total (correct change appreciated).
