A classic high-altitude grassland hiking destination near Dullstroom, with rolling hills, rocky outcrops, streams, and a series of scenic trout ponds. Trails range from gentle waterside walks to longer ridge and contour routes with big escarpment views, ideal for relaxed but rewarding overnight hikes. Evening Rise Chalet offers comfortable accommodation close to the trails, making it easy to hike by day and unwind by evening in crisp mountain air.
Participation is based on a first come first serve basis. If the hike is filled up, we encourage you to add yourself to the waiting list. Often more spaces can be made available if required.
