This is a longer hike than our standard hike here. We will cover 9 miles with 1650 feet of elevation gain thus the 4 hours allotted.

Meet at the Main parking lot for Sam McDonald County Park (coordinates
37.29653° N, 122.26552° W or if you prefer 37.296704,-122.265410). Bring $6 in cash to pay and fill out a pay envelope and display the stub on your dashboard. There are restrooms in the parking lot.
Directions: Take Highway 84 (La Honda Rd) across Skyline.
Go past Skyline another 6.6 miles south on La Honda Rd and turn left onto Pescadero Creek Rd.
Go 1.5 mi and watch for the wooden sign on the right for Sam McDonald Park.

ATTENDANCE: If you are signed up for a hike, or on the waitlist, please remove yourself to the "not going " list as soon as you become unsure about attending, so another waitlister can have adequate notice that they are going. Also, it is not okay to just show up to a hike you are not listed as "going" to. Hikers who violate these policies will have that information noted on their permanent record, and their parents may be notified.
