EDGEWOOD COMMUNITY DAY SCU GIG : All Call for Players

Edgewood Community Days 2025

Once again, we have been invited to open for the Edgewood Community Day festivities at Koenig Field. This is always such a fun time.

All SCU players are welcome. Please RSVP if you plan on coming.
We can rehearse a lot of these songs at the SCU BIRTHDAY PARTY on August 14th.

Parking can be tough by the field, but there will be spots on the surrounding streets in the neighborhood. Give yourself time!

Suze has graciously offered her home as a gathering place for SCU players to keep their gear and to leave cases and personal items. She only lives a half a block from Koenig Field, so you can walk to the field. Meet at her place by 11:45 in order to get ONTO the stage by 12:15.
ADDRESS: 4510 Willow Place 15218 (DEAD END street, off of Race Street between Hutchinson and Greendale Avenue).

But again: parking is precious, so side streets are good with a short walk to her house. She will have WATER so no one gets dehydrated and falls off the stage. Seriously.

Please: NO CASES or extraneous items on stage.

There are Edgewood Community Day activities all day long. Food, booths, games, lots of music.
Fireworks happen around 9:30 pm. Come and go as you please.

THE SCHEDULE:

**EVERYONE will Meet at Koenig Field ON STAGE by 12:15
** Performance time : 12:30 - 1:10. OFF STAGE by 1:!5 for next performers.
** (Set Up for those using the PA system: arrive at 12;00.)…. Leaders and Bass/Baritone player) We had Choir mics last year as well.

A Scout Troop will raise the FLAG while we play and sing The Star Spangled Banner before our set.
