Steel City Ukuleles promotes community, entertainment, performance and education among ukulele enthusiasts in the Greater Pittsburgh Area. All players are welcome, from beginners to professionals.

Welcome to SCU North’s Meetup Site
Meetups are held in Room 104 at the St. Athanasius Community Center located at 7 Chalfont Avenue, 15229 and is easy to access from both Rt.19 and I-279. The room is comfortably spacious and parking is plentiful and free. All levels of play are welcome.

Plan to arrive at 6:30 to set up. We’ll start playing at 6:45 and end by 8:30pm. This room is set up with tables and chairs

Bring your music, ukulele, music and expectation to have a good time-and we always have a good time 😊 cost is $3.00 per person.

South Hills branch of Steel City Ukulele invites you to join us at the McCormick Dormont VFW to play and sing songs. Drinks are available on site. Food is optional.

Join us for the ”Names” theme jam. We picked songs that have “People’s Names” in them! Should be fun. Let's enjoy!

Please bring your instrument, music, singing voice and the expectation to have fun! Plan to arrive by 6:45pm to tune-up and chat. We play from 7:00 to-8:30pm.

If you would like to introduce a new song to the group, please bring a minimum of 20 copies to pass out.

Mother’s Day: bring your mom, bring your kid, or just remember your mom… if you have a song you’d like to lead celebrating mothers everywhere, let Kathy know. If you want to lead for the first time, but want Kathy to play back up with you, let me know!

Hi SCU! Come join our group to sing and jam some good songs.
No experience needed. Everyone is welcome.
If you don’t know the chords, just sing louder. If you don’t have the music, someone will share with you.
We have a great indoor venue to play our music. Arrive at 3:30 to set up, order, and talk; we will start playing promptly at 3:45 and pack up at 5:30. Great coffee and food available! Also: BYOB.
