SCHEDULE:
11:30-11:45 find your spot, set up your music stands and music.
(If you come later, just hustle after the first performer finishes at 12:30)
12:00 -12:30 be part of the audience for the solo performer
12:30-1:30 whole SCU group performs playlist below
1:30 - 2:00 SCU Little Band

Where we play: there is a large shaded outdoor area to the right of the VA entrance where we will set up. (photos coming soon)

Chairs are provided.
If the weather is iffy, we will be playing in the atrium

Parking: there is a parking lot at the VA which you may use or you can find street parking. You can drop off people in front of the hospital.

What you need to bring.
Wear your SCU shirt if you have one.

Steel City Ukuleles celebrates 16 years strumming, singing, friendship, performing and community.

EVERYONE IS INVITED
To the big Happy Hour (wine, beer, soft drinks and water), our famous, fabulous potluck supper and everybody-plays-the-uke-jam. Reserve your Thursday evening for a Steel City Ukuleles good time.

What: Annual SCU Birthday Party

When: Thursday, June 11

Time: 6:00-8:00 (5:30 set up)

EVERYONE: Please bring a potluck dish to share-- appetizer, salad, entree, side or dessert. Bring a bottle of wine or beer to share if you like. Water, tea, soft drinks will be provided. SCU will also provide dessert and an entree.

Please list in the comments what you are bringing so we can balance out the courses. Plan on serving it in whatever you bring it in, there will not be serving platters from venue. They will provide all plates, cups, napkins and serving utensils.

After supper, there will be a jam. Bring your uke, guitar, penny whistle, whatever, a stand, yellow/blue books or iPad. Playlist will be selections from our summer gig list for Make Music Day (already done) but you are also welcome to make suggestions!

We need your help in the North Hills! If you are able to attend, please come to perform this summer playlist with Amber for the St. A’s Food Truck Festival!.

We’ll be performing from 12:30-1pm.. Don’t worry, the playlist is mostly from the MMD list. More details coming!

Hi Music Lovers! Come join our group to sing and jam some good songs. Any instrument…no experience needed. All ages are welcome. If you don’t know all the chords, just sing louder. If you don’t have the music, someone will share with you. If you just want to watch, that’s great, too.

We have a great indoor venue to play and meet. Arrive at 3:30 or earlier to set up, order drinks or food, and talk. We stared playing promptly at 3:45 and end promptly at 5:30.

Great coffee and food available. Or BYOB.
FREE RAFFLE:

If you want to lead a song or two, please contact Kathy with your song or songs that you would like to perform. If you want back up or someone to sing with you, just ask! It’s fun.

$3.00 voluntary contribution
(used by Steel City Ukuleles for parties, rentals, to pay for Meet Up, guest instructors, and insurance, etc.)

Welcome to SCU North’s new Meetup Site.
Meet-up jams are held in Room 104 at the St. Athanasius church Community Center located at 7 Chalfont Avenue, 15229. The center is easy to access from both Route 19 and Route I- 279. The room is also comfortably spacious with plentiful free parking.

Plan to arrive at 6:30pm to set up. We'll start playing at 6:45 and end by 8:30pm. This room is already set up with tables and chairs.

Plan to bring your music, a ukulele and the expectation to have a good time and we always seem to have a good time 😊. $3.00 per person.
