YOGA NIDRA & SOUND MEDITATION A Sacred Rest Practice for women Who've Forgotten How to Receive
You were never meant to earn your rest.
Your body knows how to restore itself. Your nervous system remembers safety. Your soul is asking you to stop, to be held, to finally, finally lay down the weight you've been carrying.
Yoga Nidra & Sound Meditation is a 90-minute immersion into sacred rest for women whose bodies are exhausted from holding it all together. This is not self-care as another task on your to-do list. This is permission to stop performing, producing, proving.
This is the rest that changes you.
What is Yoga Nidra?
Often called "yogic sleep," Yoga Nidra is an ancient guided meditation practice that takes you into the liminal space between waking and sleeping where the deepest healing happens. Your conscious mind softens. Your subconscious opens. Your body remembers it's safe to surrender.
One hour of Yoga Nidra can feel like four hours of deep sleep. Chronic tension releases. The nervous system exhales. The part of you that's always vigilant finally rests.
After this profound journey, while you remain in that open, receptive state, I offer you sound. Singing bowls, gong, chimes, instruments that speak the language your body understands beyond words. Vibrational medicine that moves through stuck places, that reminds your cells they're held.
What to Expect
- A gentle arrival practice to support your nervous system in settling
- Traditional Yoga Nidra journey guided by my voice, held by the Earth beneath you
- Systematic body awareness that quiets the thinking mind and opens the healing space
- Immersive sound meditation with crystal singing bowls, gong, and sacred instruments
- Extended integration time where nothing is asked of you but to receive
- A slow, tender return to waking awareness
No meditation experience required. No yoga background needed. Just the willingness to be held.
Why You'll Love This
You'll experience rest that touches places sleep doesn't reach.
You'll feel your nervous system downregulate from survival mode into a state of restoration.
You'll discover that lying still isn't laziness, it's the most radical act of self-reclamation.
You'll be held by sound, by Earth, by a container where your exhaustion is honored, not fixed.
You'll leave feeling both deeply rested and subtly recharged, as if your body finally remembered how to breathe.
This is for You If...
- Your exhaustion isn't touched by regular sleep
- You're navigating perimenopause, menopause, or a major life transition
- Anxiety lives in your body and won't quiet down
- You hold everyone else's needs and forgot how to receive
- You're grieving, overwhelmed, or simply bone-tired
- You need permission to stop being productive
- Your nervous system forgot what safety feels like
Practical Details
Duration: 90 minutes
Space: Intimate, sacred container
What to Bring: Nothing. Mats, bolsters, blankets, and eye pillows provided. Just bring your weary, beautiful self.
Wear: Comfortable, warm layers (body temperature drops during deep rest)
Your body has been asking for this.
Not the rest you collapse into after pushing through. Not the sleep interrupted by anxiety. Not the downtime you feel guilty about taking.
But this: sacred rest. Held rest. The kind of restoration that happens when you finally stop trying and let yourself be held by something larger than your own will.
Come. Lay down. Be held.
Your nervous system is waiting for permission to exhale.
