Jamison Escarpment Spectacular

From Leura station, we head out to Olympian Rock for stunning views across the Jamison valley. Following the Prince Henry Cliff walk, we head around to Leura Cascades passing Tarpeian Rock on the way. After descending to Leura Forest, we will take the Dardenelles Pass track around to the Echo Point for lunch.

After lunch we take the Prince Henry Cliff walk back to Leura.

TRANSPORT:
7:26am T1 Penrith via Parramatta train from Central Station, Platform 18 to Blacktown.
8:28am BMT train from Blacktown Station, Platform 6 to Leura
9:51am Arrive Leura Station (Meet at exit on Leura Mall)

DISTANCE: 13km
DURATION: 5-6hrs
GRADE: Medium. Well cut tracks, steep climb up the Giant Stairway

WHAT TO BRING. Please wear good bushwalking shoes and bring a hat, sunscreen, rain jacket, first aid kit, picnic lunch and 2L water.
