North Head Loop

This walk starts at Manly wharf and heads around to Shelly Beach. Following the coast, we will head up to The Barracks Precinct at North Head past old pill boxes and gun positions. Passing North Fort we will head out to the Fairfax lookouts for great views of Sydney Harbour.

After a short break, we will head down to Collins Beach. From the beach we will head up past Little Manly Cove to Manly Cove and onto Manly wharf.

Lunch will be at the Bella Vista Manly on the way (*bellavistamanly.com.au*). It has sit-down and takeaway food. We will get a table if there is sufficient room otherwise you can bring your own lunch or get take-away food.

Start Location: Manly Wharf (outside entrance next to the shell sculpture thing).

Duration: Around 4 hours Distance: 12Km

TRANSPORT: F1 Ferry - Leaves Circular Quay, Wharf 3, at 9:30am and arrives Manly Wharf at 9:52am.

WHAT TO BRING: Please bring 1-2 litres of water, a raincoat if it looks like rain and of course your happy and cheerful disposition.
