What to do when we don’t know what to do? What happens when the stories we once trusted no longer give us comfort?
In this presentation, psychiatrist (Arg), psychotherapist, and author Dr. Carlos A. Raimundo examines how the brain, culture, and emotions shape belief—and what endures when those beliefs collapse.
Dr. Carlos Raimundo, grew up in evangelical fundamentalism. He came to Australia as a Baptist pastor for the Spanish-speaking community, serving for four years and continuing to work as a consultant to religious organisations.
Join us as Dr. Raimundo shares his journey from fundamentalism to freedom, from certainty to curiosity, offering insights woven from neuroscience, philosophy, and lived experience.

Dinner and drinks are available at the venue from 5.30.
