About us
CocoaHeads is a group devoted to discussion of building software for Apple Platforms. Often the focus is on building with Swift for iOS, but we cover a range of technologies and platforms including macOS, watchOS, and visionOS.
During monthly meetings, members present on their projects and offer tutorials on various programming topics. Presentations span a range of topics, focusing on a variety of skill levels. Anyone interested is encouraged to submit a talk and present at an upcoming event!
Sydney CocoaHeads meets on the third Thursday of every month (usually) at the offices of Bilue in Sydney's CBD. Beer, soft drinks and pizza are provided! The events are made possible thanks to our wonderful sponsors Bilue and Procreate. Sydney CocoaHeads has been meeting just about every month since December 2008, just a few months after the App Store launched, and is part of the global collection of CocoaHeads groups - if you're travelling you can probably find one!

4/4 Bligh St, 4 Bligh St, Sydney, NS, AUJoin us this month to hear from Oliver Weidlich. Oliver is just back from the world’s biggest Apple Vision Pro conference, Let’s Vision in Shanghai, China. He’ll do a presentation on his favourite talks, how the visionOS community is coming together, the interesting side projects he saw, and visiting the Apple Developer Centre in Shanghai.
We'll also hear from Zach Simone about What to Do When Your Live Activity Doesn't Start with a short journey into debugging problems with Live Activities failing to start.
