Brand New Walk: Half Bush - Half Pathways - 11km Walk. Come live it up, boost your energy! let's go! Manly-Seaforth-Bushlands-rapids-different way back to Manly Vale.
Manly Wharf start at "Nautilus Shell Sculpture" sneaking past Gilbert Park, traversing around Manly Oval at Ivanhoe Park then zig-zagging deep into the back streets near Andrew "Boy" Charlton Aquatic Centre.
Hey! Let's enjoy the wide path alongside Manly Golf Club heading towards Balgowlah reaching Roseberry Street Cafe. 3 minute quick break, rehydrate, munch an apple, grab a snack from your backpack. Keep socialising, enjoy chatting!
Next: Up the path to Seaforth then an eye-opening walk past a colony of bats "worth a pic" amazing. Then through a tunnel to the Seaforth Trail. The next easy 1.5km bushland section we observe mini rapids, mini waterfalls, very forest feeling.
After Walking beside Burnt Bridge Creek we hit a narrow section but "not a problem" I promise! We then continue up the hills past Seaforth Bowling Club to Wakehurst Golf Club. (2/3rd's into walk) for 30 minutes lunch break (coffee food available or your own stuff) As we relax on the balcony, the view, amazing!
After Lunch we head downhill another interesting bush track section next to the Manly Dam past Manly Vale School to finish at Manly Vale Bus Stop.
End of the walk: Manly Vale B1 Bus Stop, only 15 minutes back to Wynyard Station.
Distance: 11km (3 hours)
Type of Walk: Bush walks, dirt tracks, bush paths, streets paths, scenic spots, lookouts.
Difficulty: Easy/Moderate (not many stairs)
Walking Pace: An easy steady pace at 4km-4.25km per hour.
What to Bring: Comfortable outfit, boots/runners, a litre of water, snacks, hat, sunscreen, a raincoat just in case of wet weather. Bring your happy personality too!
