We'll ride about 15 miles south from the Mabel Trailhead, then return to the start. We'll meet for breakfast / lunch at a local restaurant after the ride.
The Mabel Trailhead has restrooms and water.
The Bay Lake Trailhead is 9.2 miles from the start and has a vault toilet.
If you wish to continue to the Green Pond Road Trailhead, which is 19.3 miles from the start, there is a vault toilet and water.
Be prepared with the usual - spare tube/flat kit / fluids (don't count on refill stations) & a snack. *Bring enough water to drink throughout the ride.*
Be aware that hunting is permitted in the Green Swamp and Richloam wildlife management areas. We will be riding through both of these spaces, which are great for wildlife viewing. General gun season is November to January. It is advised that cyclists wear bright orange.
You must wear a helmet and exhibit safe riding. This is a Florida State Trail. Cyclists are expected to stay to the right except when passing, and yield to other users, including equestrians.

We are recreational bicyclists. Rides start from different locations in and around the Tampa Bay area and are led by volunteers.
