Hey everyone, Steve here from the band!

I started this Meetup group because, at the end of the day, The Beat 5 is more than just a band—it’s a community. When we play at Tr!p Santa Monica, it isn't just a gig; it’s a weekly gathering of our regulars, our friends, and anyone who loves the magic of the Beatles.

If you’re new to the group, don't worry about finding a "Meetup table" or a sign. Just look for the band and the crowd of friendly faces near the stage. We’re a big, eclectic group of friends, and we love welcoming new voices into the mix. Come say hi to me during a break—I want to meet the people who keep this music alive!

### The Night’s Rhythm

  • 7:00 PM – Pre-Show Social: This is the best time to arrive. Grab a pint, find a spot near the stage, and meet the "regulars." You’ll find that our crowd is one of the most welcoming in Santa Monica.
  • 7:30 PM – The First Set: We kick things off with the high-energy classics.
  • Set Breaks – The "Half-Time" Hang: We’ll take a breather, grab a drink, and come out into the crowd to catch up with everyone.
  • 10:30 PM – The Finale: We wrap up the night, but the vibes usually carry on long after the last note.

If you’re a fan of craft beer, Tr!p is your sanctuary. They have a wide selection on tap—from local IPAs to imports.

  • Food Note: While it’s not a full-service restaurant, Tr!p has exactly what you need to fuel a night of dancing: solid bar bites and curated snacks that pair perfectly with a cold pint. It’s simple, classic, and exactly what a rock club should be.

### Logistics & Tips

  • Finding the Group: No signs needed! Just head toward the music. If you see people laughing, dancing, and singing along to "I Saw Her Standing There," you’ve found us.
  • Parking: Check Lincoln Blvd for street spots, or the surrounding residential streets.
  • Entry: $10 gets you in the door, and buys your first drink!
  • Age: 21+
