Welcome. If you love the Beatles and you've been looking for your people, you just found them.
We're a weekly gathering on the Westside built around the music of the Beatles, played live by The Beat 5 every Thursday at Tr!p in Santa Monica. Some of us have been coming for years. Some of us walked in last week. Either way, by the second song you're one of the regulars.
Here's what the nights are like. You'll hear the songs you've sung your whole life, plus the deep cuts, the B-sides, and the BBC tracks the real fans turn up for, all with the harmonies done the way they were meant to be done. No wigs, no costumes, no shtick. Just five fun guys who know this catalog cold, in a room small enough that the band knows your face and the bartender starts to learn your order.
It's an easy night out, the kind that's getting harder to find. No stadium, no forty-dollar parking, no late-night marathon. Just a short trip from anywhere on the Westside, a drink, a table, good people, and the best catalog in the history of pop music. You'll still be home at a reasonable hour.
