❄️Hathersage 10 miles🌥Millstone Edge🌥Longshore🌥Burbage Edge🌥Higger Tor❄️

This is a beautiful varied walk through woodland and along rocky edges with far reaching views.

The walk starts in the Village of Hathersage ascending through woodland and across pastures up to the scenic moorlands of Over Owler Tor.

Eventually reaching the path onto the rocky Millstone Edge with spectacular views around us.

Coming off the Edges, the route continues across moorland onto the Longshaw Estate, which is a beautiful area of ancient woodland and moorland, we head for the cafe.
This gives us an opportunity for a toilet stop and of course our lunch stop with plenty of picnic tables.

Leaving Longshaw, our route heads along the rocky path of Burbage Edge with spectacular views all the way.

Coming off the Edges, we head up along Fiddler's Elbow onto Higger Tor with more rewarding views.

There's a short path which descends to the road then joining tracks with varied terrain taking us back to Hathersage..

Plenty of stops along the way to enjoy the beautiful views around us..

A moderate walk with steady ascents through woodland moorland and along rocky paths..

Catching up points and breaks along the way as always..

Bring a picnic lunch and plenty of snacks to keep you going..

Walking boots are highly advised
