Most of us have imagined ourselves in
wartime. We picture our courage. Our choices.
What we would have done
Lisa Fittko didn't have to imagine. In 1940, she
guided Walter Benjamin and
dozens of other artists, intellectuals and refugees
over the Pyrenees to safety — on foot, at night,
hunted.
This is a chance to meet her. And then
find out what you're actually made of.
What happens in the room
We start with Lisa's story - told the way she deserves
to be acknowledged. Then you’ll work experientially
with two of her core character qualities, exploring
how to grow them in your own life and leadership.
There will be time to talk. To sit with what comes up.
To leave differently than you arrived.
You Think You’d Be Brave: A Workshop in Courage, Choice and Uncertainty
Who is this for? Women curious about what courage,
uncertainty and navigation actually look like in
practice, not in theory. If you have any questions about journeying into the Pyrenees regarding kit for multi day trips or other Anne is happy to help.
What comes next
This workshop, meet up is a taster for an immersive
adventure from Banyuls to Portbou end June —
following the exact trail Lisa used. Same mountain.
Same path. A full weekend of experiments in
navigating uncertainty. It's also a great change to meet fellow adventurers or leaders who are interested in mountains, wild places an history. Details available on the
