BIRDSONG OF TOMORROW
7pm start approx 60 mins.
The wandering albatross. The buff-breasted paradise kingfisher. The superb fairywren. Every day across this country, birds sing. Songs passed down through generations. Songs of a world that’s gone and a world that’s changing. Birds fill every part of the planet with melody and colour. They soar and swim and run. And a lot of them are chickens.
Nathan Harrison the writer is a professional theatre-maker and an amateur birdwatcher, who has seen roughly 150 varieties in the last year alone. Blending science, storytelling, music and video, Birdsong of Tomorrow is a playful and heartfelt look at our rapidly changing environment—and what birds might sing when we’re gone.

THE BALLOON DOG BITES
Starts 9pm approx 50 mins
Writer & Performer: Michael Louis Kennedy
Paulie Accio has had a big night. And his big night is followed by an even bigger day, performing at the birthday party of nine-year-old self-identified angel Constantina Levesy; a necessary but humiliating gig for an otherwise serious clown.
Nursing a particularly queer injury and a come-down that could fell a wollemi pine, he faces a relentless trial of pretentious desserts, errant blow torches, and heinous conversations with employees of Deloitte; culminating in a shocking and senseless murder.
