Six Shooter Canyon Trail to Pinal Mountain - VERY HARD
Details
Let's hike the Six Shooter Canyon Trail! One of my favorites! Get ready for some amazing views and hopefully we can still catch some fall colors. The total hike is 14+ miles round trip with 3,800+ elevation gained. Difficult! Not for Beginners!
We will meet at 6 am at Bashas Gold Canyon for carpooling, then drive to trailhead and start our hike at 7:30am. We will hike to Pinal Peak summit and come back the same way we came in. The Miami/Globe area was hit hard during the last storm with major damage caused by flooding. Not sure of the current trail conditions but be prepare to bypass some obstacles during our hike. After the hike, we will go to Globe to grab something to eat and help the local economy.
