On this day, the Emperor, Empress, and members of the Imperial Family appear on the palace balcony to offer their New Year’s greetings to the public.
This is a rare opportunity to witness an important cultural moment, feel the warm wishes of the Imperial Family, and celebrate the beginning of 2026 together with people from all around the world.

🚉 We will depart at 12:15 sharp, so please arrive on time.
📍 Meeting Point: Tokyo Station – Marunouchi North Exit
🎟️Fee: ¥1000 cash only (community operation & preparation)

• It may be cold, so bring warm clothes and gloves.
• Large bags may be subject to inspection at the entrance.
• If you join late, you can try to meet us directly at the Imperial Palace, but it may be crowded.
