Let’s meet up for a Monday evening concert at Hamer Hall and enjoy Beethoven’s Second Symphony with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra. We’ll meet at 6:10pm outside Hamer Hall so we have a little time to say hello before heading in. The concert starts at 6:30pm and runs for about 1 hour with no interval. This concert is part of MSO’s Quick Fix at Half Six series, which includes a short presentation on Beethoven’s Second Symphony followed by the performance itself. It’s a nice option for anyone who enjoys classical music but also wants something shorter and easier to fit into a weekday evening. The program includes: * C.P.E. Bach – Sinfonia in D major, WQ183: first movement * Locke – The Tempest: Curtain Theme * Beethoven – Symphony No. 2 This meetup is mainly about enjoying the concert together in a relaxed, low-pressure way.
