We usually have about 50 to 100 people at each event.** ***FAQ: Why does it cost money if I bring my own project?*** Because we rent a beautiful, central space for every event. Ever thought your monthly apartment rent was too high? Well, multiply that – that’s what commercial spaces in big cities like Berlin cost *per hour*. Of course, if all you want is just some quiet time, your home or a library is perfect. But if you’d like to focus & connect with others in an inspiring space – with drinks, snacks included – that’s what your ticket helps to cover. Lousy & Lazy SC - Mixed Friendly Football
Lousy & Lazy SC - Mixed Friendly Football
Do you like to play football - but relaxed and not with competitive or aggressive players? Are you a bit lazy, a bit old, a bit unfit or not so talented? Are you tired of insecure bros who only want to show off their skills? **Then [Lousy & Lazy Football](https://www.instagram.com/landlsc/) is the right thing for you!** We are a group of friendly people who just want to have a relaxed kick. All genders, ages (+18) and nationalities welcome. **Feel free to join the waitlist even if it seems long - sometimes we make the event larger and play on two pitches (24 players, four teams) or even three pitches (36 players, six teams), depending on demand.** Note: **We do not allow high-studded football boots during our sessions.** To avoid injuries, we only play with "Multinocken" (multistuds) or shorter. Please have a look here: [link](https://www.11teamsports.com/de-de/fussballschuhe/multinocken/). Rules for lazy & lousy football 1. **Don’t be competitive** 2. **No hard tackling/sliding challenges** 3. **Support new players by giving them the time and space to play the ball** 4. **Don’t dribble past multiple players (trying to take on a player is fine but at no point should you be trying to dribble past multiple players).** 5. **Don’t close down the defenders too quickly. Give the team a chance to play the ball out.** 6. **Rotate the goalkeeper** 7. **Be a teamplayer** Waiting list: This meetup is for members of the Lousy & Lazy Sport Club. If you want to try out our lousy & lazy sport events, you can do a trial run (Probetraining).

Was "volles Potenzial" bedeutet, ist subjektiv.

Silent Reading Club
Silent Reading Club
Ditch the old book club, where everyone has to read the same book...this is better! It works like this: Bring your own book. Come chat, have some tea or coffee, get to know your neighbors. Then we quietly read together, side by side, for about one hour, each one reading their own book, and afterwards we talk with each other about what we are reading. The usual agenda: - Arrival and introduction (~20 minutes) - Silent reading (~1 hour) - Discussion (~30-40 minutes) - Join us for a bite at a local restaurant afterwards, if you like! You may read in any language, you may read any book. We are a group of international residents of Berlin from many different countries, of all ages, and we converse in English. We welcome you! No registration needed – the event is donation based. All funds support the Offenes Wohnzimmer.
Evening of Meditation - Reacting vs responding in relationships
Evening of Meditation - Reacting vs responding in relationships
Join our weekly Evenings of Meditation, to gently meet yourself, dissolve stress and live life from beautiful inner states. These gatherings are not just about meditating on your own, but a step inward we take together. Each time we’ll look into a particular topic in the light of timeless wisdom, reflect on it in a guided meditation, do powerful Oneness practices for greater wellbeing, and receive Deeksha - a phenomenon that helps to speed up your inner growth. For more information see: www.onenessberlin.com **This week's topic: Reacting vs responding in relationships** Often, we find ourselves being reactive in all kinds of relationships - whether with family, partner, friends, or colleagues. It deteriorates the quality of our relationships, and with that the quality of our experience of life. Let’s explore together what can help us shift from reacting to responding, and how this shift can transform our lives. **How to join** **[Get a ticket starting from € 5 >>>](https://momence.com/Oneness-Berlin/Evening-of-Meditation/133759137)** Walk-ins are also welcome for €10 paid on arrival, it's just for us to pay for the space. You’re welcome, no matter your background or experience. This is what has worked for us over many years and we love to share it with you. Looking forward to see you, Oneness Berlin Florian and Jazgul

COUNT monthly event: Kitchen service at Van Buren Center's shelter
Come assist Van Buren Shelter (https://ymcacolumbus.org/locations/vanburen) staff in serving dinners and cleaning up on the 3rd Tuesday of each month. Dinner for the women is 5-6 pm and for the families is 6:15-7:15 pm. There is ample free parking available in the shelter's lot. The recommended area to park is in green in the image above. There will be a new entrance for the time being. We are asking all volunteers to enter through the Donation Dock door, the orange mark on the image above. This door is located between the Single Adults and Family Shelter. You will see 2 large garage doors with a large green trash compactor in the center. Please head to the closest garage door to the building wall, with a ramp leading up. There, you will see a door with a sign stating instructions on how to enter the building. Please ring the doorbell, and a staff member will come and escort you into the building. If a staff member takes longer than 5 minutes, please call the front desk at 614-689-2020. This is a new process for us, and we do not want to keep you waiting! We appreciate your patience as we navigate this temporary change. The shelter needs a volunteer count the day before the event so sign-up ends Monday at 4:50 PM. Afterwards some of us go to the Omnipresent Atheists Weekly Meetup in progress to have a bit to eat or drink (http://www.meetup.com/omnipresentatheists/). Volunteers must be 14 or older. Since we will be working around families, the YMCA does not permit volunteering by individuals with convictions for violent or sexual crimes. The YMCA reserves the right to run background checks on volunteers. For questions, comment on this page or contact: Andrew, awhit12@yahoo.com, (614)937-5802 (cell). Please let Andrew know if you volunteer anytime other than our COUNT events so that he can count your hours toward our service record.
