The schooner "Pride of Baltimore II" is coming to Old Town Alexandria this weekend! Let's park at Jones Point Park and walk up to the City Marina for a free deck tour! ❶ **What we'll do:** * From the old ship's rudder under Wilson Bridge we'll walk upstream about 2 miles along the Potomac shoreline to the City Marina, arriving about 2:00 PM. * Tickets aren't needed for the free deck tour of the schooner. * After the deck tour we will return to Jones Point Park along Union and Lee streets; about 1.2 miles. * Total distance is a little over 3 miles and the surface is flat and mostly paved. From Highway 1 (either direction), take Franklin Street east to Royal Street, turn right and drive south 3 blocks until the street ends in front of Wilson Bridge. The park entrance is on your left. \*Update 5/2/2026: I would like to reschedule this event for Saturday May 16th to partially overlap with an invasive plant removal event, pending property owner approval. Stay tuned and comment below with feedback! We can park and meet at the end (traffic circle) of the paved road in the park. We can explore the natural burial area, then walk in the woods using the 1 mile trail. Reflection Park is on a 40-acre parcel of land, with a section dedicated to a multi-faith natural burial ground. Arrive at 9:45 am Pedal at 10:00 am Join us for a ride around the perimeter of Washington DC. We will meet at Cora Kelly Elementary School next to 4 Mile Run, in Alexandria VA. We will start on the 4-mile trail and then head to the capital crescent trail, then to Rock Creek trail and onto Sligo creek parkway, the Anacostia trail and then back to the 4-mile trail. There is a rest stop at Kaldi Coffee in Silver Spring around mile 21 or 22. There is another rest stop at mile 29 at Vigilante Coffee in Hyattsville. This is a new route for us and a departure from our typical rides in the country. After the ride, we can go to lunch somewhere in Old Town or a nearby area. Follow the 🎶 Forró DC is brung the fun of forro to everyone. Forró SC is opening the dance floor to all. Come out and join the free event to dance forro, explor Brazilian culture and meet the local forro fantics. There will be a basic forro lesson and plenty of time to dance.

We meet on Sundays at 8 a.m. for training runs on some of DC's best trails, including Rock Creek Park and the surrounding area. We typically meet at either Peirce Mill in Rock Creek Park, or Roosevelt Island, depending on the route. All paces and levels of trail experience are welcome for these runs, which range in distance from 6 to 9 miles.

Join us for 2 loops of the 1.1 mile trail surrounding Civic Park In Reynoldsburg this Thursday (5/7) at 6:30 pm. This is a fully paved trail so no worries about mud after a rainy week. Just come and get some exercise while connecting with others.
