From these high points we enjoy sweeping views across the Vale of Aldbury and the rolling Chiltern countryside. Midway we reach **Ivinghoe Beacon**, a striking hilltop once used for signalling beacons and now a superb viewpoint across the region. It has featured in TV classics like The Avengers and The Saint.
