From Balham tube station turn left onto Chestnut Grove road.

Scoring system:

Distance: 9.6 miles (15.5 km)
Pace: Brisk
Terrain: Flat. Along towpaths
A delightful riverside jaunt passing by 10 iconic bridges along the Thames path. We begin at Putney Bridge Underground Station (District Line) and end at Richmond Bridge (10 -15 mins walk to Richmond Station).
We'll follow the Thames river's towpath and come across the following Bridges Putney Hammersmith Barnes Railway Chiswick Kew Railway Kew Richmond Lock Twickenham Richmond Railway Richmond We'll stop very briefly at each bridge.
We'll also pass a few other sights along the way Please bring a packed lunch and water (which we'll have somewhere along the walk)

We will also stop at a pub near Barnes Bridge where you can order a drink / chips etc.. but not a long lunch break so don't order a big lunch...

For this session we'll be travelling from Westminster up river shooting as many bridges we can! Make sure you have your Oyster card to hand as it may be quicker to jump on and off public transportation so we make best use of the time,
Filters give you the ability to smooth water, blur clouds and make moving objects turn ghost-like or disappear. This type of photography is associated with fine art photography due to the surreal effects long exposures can bring.

Tring to Apsley Stunning Grand Union Canal Walk
Come go with the flow and join us on this beautiful medium paced 9.5 mile walk along the Grand Union Canal.
Please arrive by 9.05am in front of platform 8 to facilitate the purchase of group train tickets to Tring.
We shall take the 9.45am train that arrives in Tring at 10.24am.
Train ticket : return to Tring.
Or you may decide to drive.
Walk starts at 10.30am.

**ABOUT THE SESSION**
This singles games session is for badminton players of **high intermediate to advance level skills, Division 1, Division 2 (minimum) club or league experience.** This session is **not suitable** for beginners, improvers or low intermediate. In some exceptional cases, organiser's discretion will apply.
Come and join us for some Badminton singles games at Chobham Academy from 2pm to 4pm. We play with feather shuttlecocks.
The venue is approx. 10 mins walk from Leyton Station (turn left as you exit the station and then right at Drapers Field towards Temple Mill Lane).
If you're coming from Stratford Station, walk through Westfield towards Waitrose. Take the exit on the right called Celebration Avenue. Follow the road for several minutes and you will come to the entrance of the school on Temple Mill Lane, which is on the right hand side. Still can't find it, call me on 07863 165824.
If you are driving there is an NCP car parking opposite the school. There are also places in Leyton area that you can park for free. Please check road signages for timings.
