This group was originally started by Chad Keith who created and hosts a podcast by the same name in Charlotte, NC. I am hoping to continue his legacy here in NoVa as I recently moved to this area. This group is all about finding community around self-improvement and exchanging ideas on how to be your best self and get the most out of life. This group is for anyone who is interested in overcoming average in all areas - career, ambitions, relationships, hobbies, health, everything. Its that time of year when Brookside Gardens should be filled with bombastic spring colors. Let's take an evening stroll to check them out. We will meet up near the restrooms at Wheaton Regional Park (go left at the roundabout). We will head northeast and enter the gardens, making a large loop to see all of the perimeter areas, but not necessarily examining every exhibit. From there, we will backtrack slightly and loop past Pine Lake and the carousel on the way back to the start. Total distance should be 2.5 miles or less, depending on how much meandering we do in the garden. Our start point is about 120' higher than the gardens, but it is just one big gradual slope that you will barely notice. Wednesday night skate and chill is our weekly group ride. DCESK8 has been hosting this weekly ride for several years now. **For some of our Northern Virginia riders our cycling family from District Cycling Collective & Zephyrus Bikes LLC present Wednesday Night Rydes!!** **This weekly ride will be led by our own Jeff Walden, owner of Zephyrus bikes. We will be Meeting in the parking lot of the Giant Foods at 5pm and rolling at 5:30 pm.

This will be a no drop ride, but is NOT a ride for beginners. Steady pace and climbs in spots.** **Riders should be comfortable with group and street riding . The pace for this ride will be a minimum of 18 mph. There is a considerable amount of climbing. All riders will be riding at their own risk, there will be NO SAG.
