These are our regular Monday evening electronics nights. Everyone from absolute beginner to experienced is welcome. These evenings are not classes or tutorials, rather a very friendly informal evening. We have a wide range of people who come. Some are absolute beginners who do not even work or study electronics, but are interested to know more. Others have something that they are already working on. We almost always have some first time visitors and we always give them a tour of the space. Come in with your Pi, Arduino, or whatever you have. Bring your laptop. Maybe you want to make something, solder, breadboard or use our electronic gear. Maybe you have some vague ideas and just want to get started. Or maybe you’re just curious……if so, it’s fine to come along and just see what others are doing. If you would like to get even more involved and have the full use of our space, we would be delighted to have you as a full member. Membership brings many benefits. We are located behind Mr Price and the Bright Lights store on Kylemore Road. We have lots of free parking available.

**Do you like to make things? Would you like to use 3D software, lasercutter and 3D printing to help you make your idea?** TOG has an open evening to learn how CAD software and 3D fabrication tools can help you make your project. All you need to take part is your own laptop and some ideas on what you want to make. This is not a taught class, more like an informal working group of self-directed makers. We will be happy to help you explore how to use our 3D tools in designing and making your project whether you are a crafter, designer, engineer or hobbyist. Come and have a look at the tools in our space and get some ideas on how your project can be made.

Come along and swim, float, or just paddle your feet — it’s all about good vibes, fresh sea air, and meeting fellow seals ahead of the big day 😊 We will meet at the changing shelters at 10am After the dip, there’s the option to warm up in the nearby sauna at Sandycove Store & Yard or just grab a coffee — a perfect way to toast the season and leave feeling cosy and refreshed. Distance 73 Kms, 385m ascent Today we cycle out through north county Dublin’s quiet rural roads to reach Fourknocks Passage Tomb, a Neolithic tomb 5,000 years old on the border of counties Dublin and Meath: https://www.discoverboynevalley.ie/boyne-valley-drive/heritage-sites/four-knocks. A lovely route through north county Dublin. Here is our plan for the day. 1️⃣. We leave from St Anne’s Road Pocket Park, beside Drumcondra Train Station (corner of Drumcondra Road and St Anne’s Road ) at 9.30am. 2️⃣Cycle out the north city suburbs using mostly bike lanes, then through Santry Demesne park and on, passing St Margaret's, and onwards to Lispopple, Oldtown and on to Ardcath and Fourknocks on quiet rural roads, 3️⃣ We stop for a coffee in Oldtown, and also for coffee/lunch in Garristown village. 4️⃣ The return journey is via Garristown , Killsallaghan and St Margaret’s and through Ballymun before we finish in Drumcondra. All going well we should be back in Drumcondra by 3pm. * *Please note - It is every participant's responsibility to ride safely, follow the rules of the road, and come prepared with the proper equipment.* * *Please wear a helmet and bring a tube etc in case you get a puncture.* * *Please cycle single file on narrow busy roads* WAIVER & RELEASE: We are a group composed of volunteers. Dear comedy lovers, Anaconda is slithering onto the big screen after Christmas — hilariously over-the-top, featuring Jack Black, Paul Rudd, and one of the most deadly animals ever committed to cinema. What could possibly go wrong? Plan: Let’s meet at 6:00 pm in the cinema lobby and head in together. The movie starts at 6:10 pm. My seat is G12 if you’d like to sit nearby and share collective disbelief. After the film, we’ll do the sensible thing: good food and post-movie laughs at Sofra, an excellent Turkish spot nearby.
