German Sprachcafé at Denizen! From A1 to B2 *Read Description
**Hi everyone!**
We’ll now be meeting twice a week at Denizen House (Köpenicker Str. 40, 10179 Berlin), on **Mondays and Wednesdays**!
* **Mondays:** levels A1 to B2
* **Wednesdays:** levels B1 to C1
We work with dedicated materials tailored to each level, so everyone will have a place to practice and improve.
**Event schedule**
* **18:00 – 18:30** Arrival and registration
* **18:30 – 19:50** Sprachcafé
* **19:50 – 20:00** End and clean up
Please be aware that the moderated event starts at **18:30**. Before this time, we are busy setting up the space.
Registrations usually take place around **18:15 / 18:20**.
Participants are kindly asked **not to arrive too far in advance** at the house.
If someone arrives much earlier, Denizen may ask them to pay either for a drink (consumption) or for a **day pass**, as the space is a co-working environment during the day. **Please remember, our event is only happening from 18:00 to 20:00**
**How the Sprachcafé works**
We use different materials to help participants gain confidence in German. Together with whiteboards and our volunteers, the Sprachcafé is based on **interactive conversations** in small groups.
**Participation fee**
The Sprachcafé has a **participation fee of 5 €**, which helps cover organizational costs and **includes one soft drink for free**.
Tickets can be purchased directly on the day of the event, card and cash payments are accepted.
As the Sprachcafé has become very popular, we now need to **limit the number of participants**. Please understand this measure; it ensures that everyone has a comfortable space to practice.
We kindly ask you to be **rücksichtsvoll** and only RSVP “Yes” if you are certain you can attend.
If your plans change at the last minute, please update your RSVP so someone on the waiting list can take your spot.
Getting your ticket early can help secure your place.
**Please note**
Our event will begin **promptly** at the scheduled start time.
If you arrive late, we cannot guarantee your participation, even if you have a ticket or have RSVP’d.
We encourage all guests to arrive on time to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
**About Denizen**

Located on the ground floor of the historic Eiswerk on Köpenicker Straße in Kreuzberg, Denizen House is a communal place providing work, refreshment, and recreational facilities throughout the day. Think of it as a living room for the neighborhood.

Offener Leseabend
## Wo & Wann?
**BEGINN**: 20:00 Uhr
**ANMELDUNG zum Lesen: ab 19:30 Uhr**
beim Moderator des Abends – siehe [Termine](http://autorenforum-berlin.de/wordpress/termine/);
Die Teilnahme an der Veranstaltung ist kostenlos.
**SCHWARTZSCHE VILLA**
**Großer Salon**
Direkt am S/U Rathaus Steglitz
Grunewaldstr. 55
*Unfortunately at the moment, it's only possible to present German texts. Unpublished texts that are already translated into German are highly welcome!*
## Was erwartet Sie?
Also – nicht gleich verschwinden! Dranbleiben.
**Was habe ich gehört?** (Zusammenfassung (Nacherzählung))
**Was blieb unverstanden** (akustisch oder logisch)
## **Unter der Lupe**
**Was ist das für ein Text?**
(Prosa: Genre? Lyrik: Welche Art lyrischer Text?)
**Thema**
**Sprache**
(Welche Bilder sind stimmig / welche nicht?
Was lässt sich zum Rhythmus sagen?
Sind die Sätze syntaktisch und grammatikalisch korrekt?)
**Dramaturgie**
(Schafft der Text es, Spannung zu erzeugen? In welcher Reihenfolge werden die Dinge erzählt?)
**Bedeutung**

**Was macht unseren Club besonders?**
www.mut-und-rede.de/kontakt#anfahrt

Critical Design Events This Week
Discover what is happening in the next few days
From Events to Boundaries: Hands-On Context Mapping
Join us for our next Berlin Collaborative Modelling session — a hands-on workshop where we'll build a Context Map from scratch.
Context Maps make the big picture of a system explicit: which bounded contexts exist, how they relate to each other, and where the friction, dependencies, and power dynamics between teams actually live. They help you make better decisions about integration strategies, team ownership, and where to invest in clean boundaries versus where to accept pragmatic compromise.
To get there, we'll use Event Storming as our starting point — laying out domain events to discover natural clusters of behavior, then drawing boundaries around them to identify candidate bounded contexts and subdomains. From there, we'll sketch out the relationships between contexts and discuss what patterns like Customer/Supplier, Conformist, or Anti-Corruption Layer look like in practice.
What to expect:
This is a collaborative, stickies-on-the-wall kind of evening. No laptops needed, no prior DDD experience required — just curiosity about how to make sense of complex systems. We'll work through a shared example domain together, so everyone starts from the same place.
Design and Animation (2D/3D) Meetup Berlin
It's all about getting to know new people from your favorite industry.
So if you are interested in Motion Design, 2D or 3D Animation, CGI, Illustration or any related field, feel free to join us. Grab a beer in a relaxed atmosphere, have a nice chat about key frames or discuss your next project!
Beginner or expert – wir freuen uns auf dich!
Berlin. Vibe Coding Club - Lovable
**IMPORTANT! Please register at** [Luma Page](https://luma.com/9svvrv99)
Vibecoding is no longer the question. What matters is what you actually do with it.
**On May 9** at **Spiced Academy (Berlin)**, we meet to figure that out in practice — using **[Lovable](https://lovable.dev/)**. No lectures, no slides. You open the tool and start working.
[Projector Global community](https://www.linkedin.com/company/projector-global-community/) ambassadors and mentors will guide you through the basics, help you navigate the process, and answer your specific questions.
**This event is for those who:**
— already have some experience in vibecoding
— want to test a tool hands-on instead of watching demos
— are stuck on something specific and want a real answer
Come with a question.
Even better — submit it during registration.
We recommend creating an account in advance so you can jump straight in.

They’ll be there to help you unblock, give direction, and support your ideas in real time.

This event is supported by [Lovable](https://lovable.dev/) \- an AI\-powered tool for building products faster\, without getting stuck in complexity\.

Okupljanje ex-Yu tech stručnjaka i preduzetnika u Nemačkoj #7
**Two talks. One founder story. One reality check on AI. No fluff.**
**=== Please see the English version below ===**
**\# Datum i lokacija**
• Sreda, 6. maj 2026
• cognee.ai – Prilaz 4, 1. sprat, Paul-Lincke-Ufer 39–40
• Početak: 18:00
**\# Predavači i teme**
Dva predavanja.
U ovom predavanju, Jovan deli iskustvo izgradnje i prodaje kompanije.
• **Tema:** Od nule do prodaje: realna slika preduzetničkog puta

* **Talk:** Researcher vs. The Machine: Should AI replace the UX researcher?
**Jovan Stevović** is the CEO and co-founder of Chino.io, living between Italy and Germany and operating in one of the toughest regulatory environments: health tech. With a PhD in healthcare innovation and 10+ years in the industry, he operates at the intersection of AI, compliance, and product.

We meet to learn and practice American Sign Language and to grow our familiarity with Deaf culture. Facilitated by hearing folks (with a connection to a professional interpreter) using Deaf-created content. People of all ASL skill levels are welcome! As we learn, we hope to connect more with the Deaf community in Central Ohio. Join us as you're able!
Come regularly or just once - whatever you're looking for! Each meetup will explore different topics related to ASL/Deaf culture, and will feature time to practice conversation with one another. Just bring yourself and a willingness to learn!

CBusData - Practical AI for Power BI Developers
Practical AI for Power BI Developers
A year ago, “agentic AI” was mostly hype for Power BI teams. Today, it deserves your undivided attention. For Power BI pros, there is now a real opportunity to reduce repetitive development work, accelerate delivery, and help developers do more, but only when strong DataOps practices are in place to make AI workflows effective.
This session is a no-nonsense introduction to effective AI patterns for Power BI and Fabric development. Along the way, we will make sense of the growing pile of terminology, including skills, plugins, hooks, and MCP. You will see examples of how modern AI tooling can help with development tasks across Power BI and Fabric, along with the prerequisites, guardrails, and DataOps principles needed to use it responsibly.
Whether you're burned out on AI hype or already using Copilot CLI daily, this session will show you the foundations that are finally making AI-assisted development genuinely useful.
Building Scalable Customer Identity Resolution Pipelines on AWS Using AI
Customer identity resolution becomes increasingly complex as organizations scale across multiple systems, regions, and data formats. Traditional rule-based approaches often fail to keep up with data variability, require constant manual tuning, and struggle with real-time processing needs.
This session presents a practical approach to building a scalable identity resolution pipeline using AWS services and modern AI techniques. The architecture combines data ingestion through Amazon S3 and AWS Glue, transformation pipelines using Spark on EMR, and machine learning models deployed via SageMaker for entity matching and standardization. Graph-based relationship modeling is implemented using Amazon Neptune to improve resolution accuracy by incorporating household and shared attribute context.
We will walk through how machine learning models can be used for name and address normalization, how intelligent blocking strategies improve matching efficiency, and how feedback loops can be introduced to continuously improve accuracy. The session also highlights how serverless components such as AWS Lambda can be used for orchestration and real-time processing.
