Les observer aux très hautes énergies permet d'explorer des processus physiques fondamentaux, comme les mécanismes d'accélération des particules et les processus radiatifs à l'œuvre dans les jets. 🔭 Dans ce contexte, les réseaux de télescopes au sol, capables de détecter la lumière Cherenkov produite par l'interaction des rayons gamma dans notre atmosphère, jouent un rôle clé. Toutefois, la modélisation de ces sources nécessite une approche multi-longueurs d'onde, combinant des données obtenues de la radio aux rayons gamma pour reconstruire leur distribution spectrale d'énergie et leur variabilité. 🎙️ Derrière chaque résultat scientifique se cache donc un immense travail de coordination, de modélisation et de gestion des données.
