On se rencontre chaque mercredi pour parler français. Parmi nous, il y a des gens qui ont le français comme langue maternelle, et des gens qui aiment le français et le maîtrisent plus ou moins. On aime discuter et parler de tout et de rien, et on est toujours content de recevoir des gens qui sont de passage ou des nouvelles personnes qui veulent écouter, parler, pratiquer ou poser des questions. Cette semaine, on retourne au Café Merkur, Café sympa et calme avec une cuisine de mediteranée orientale. La table est toujours gérée d'une façon très libre et relaxée, on se rencontre et on parle aux autres participants et participantes autour de nous. NOTE: Si vous comptez venir, inscrivez-vous s'il vous plaît, pour qu'on puisse prévoir assez (mais pas trop non plus) d'espace au restaurant. Comme ça, on sera à l'aise et l'endroit qui nous accueille aussi. On commence à 18h30 , mais ce n'est pas un problème de rejoindre après. Join me for a photo walk :) We will gather at Gasometer (in front of Apotheke - straight out of Ubahn). After a short introduction we will walk around the 4 iconic buildings, then make our way to Ostbahnsteg, where a view over Donaukanal awaits. At the end of the walk everyone is welcome to join for a warm drink at a nearby cafe. The event is free of charge but will be limited to max 10 people as it is meant as an opportunity to connect, and the park is the perfect location for losing parts of a group. Hi everyone, This is a relaxed morning coffee and German conversation meetup for English speakers (any level) learning **German at A2/B1 level.** We meet on **Saturdays** from 10:00 to 12:00 at Café Zuckergoscherl at Rochusmarkt in Vienna’s 3rd district for coffee, **conversation**, and regular speaking practice in a friendly small-group setting. The meetup is aimed at people who are around **A2 to early B1** and want to **build confidence** speaking **German** in a comfortable, low-pressure environment. Hi Running fellows, Whether you’re a walker, new to running, a semi-pro, a marathonist or a sprint star - if you want to start your weekend in an active way and enjoy the outdoors in lovely surroundings with a fun, international and multilingual group of people, you are welcome to join us! Every Saturday at 9:30 am, we meet, we run, in the magnificent Schönbrunn park, and then we go for breakfast. Want to discuss politics or the best recipes for banana pancakes? Not a problem. Not feeling social? Tune out with your earbuds - we can talk over breakfast. We are casual. You can be too. What to expect: Start by meeting Adrian, Ali, Liz, Paul and Sonia on-time at 9:30am outside the Schönbrunn U-Bahn stop (exit Grünbergstraße). Typically, small groups of people will run at the same pace as you, so you never have to walk/run alone :) We finish one hour later, at about 10:40am, reconvening just inside the Hietzinger Tor exit. This year's Eurovision Song Contest is being held in Vienna, Austria, and the finals are scheduled for 16 May 2026. The [Scandinavian Club of Columbus](https://www.scandiclub.com/) will be co-hosting a viewing party for the final event in conjunction with Germania and the [Columbus Maennerchor](https://www.maennerchor.com/). The delayed televised viewing will take place at the Germania. The program will start around 2:00 p.m. and the singing will start around 3:00 p.m. There will be a cash bar, and those in attendance can bring food or snacks for themselves and or to share with the groups. **Suggested donation: $10/person** to help cover the cost of the venue.
