**L’Eix Fort Pienc ho dona tot per l’Orgull Friki!** Botigues, escenaris i cultura pop al cor del triangle friki ens sumem a la gran celebració del Dia de l’Orgull Friki de Barcelona, una jornada plena d’activitats per a tots els públics al Passeig de Lluís Companys, sota l’Arc de Triomf. Organitzat pel Departament de Joventut de l’Ajuntament de Barcelona, amb la col·laboració d’Eix Fort Pienc i la participació de nombroses entitats frikis de la ciutat, l’esdeveniment omplirà el passeig d’activitats de 12 a 20 h amb un ambient festiu, creatiu i carregat de referències a la cultura pop, el manga, l’anime, la fantasia, els jocs de rol i de taula, el cosplay i molt més. Activitats durant tot el dia Al llarg de la jornada trobaràs una àmplia oferta d’activitats, parades i espais interactius: 🛍️ Botigues especialitzades com Takopá, Dashu, Gameria, Magic BCN, Norma Comics, o Yoomi, amb col·leccionisme, roba, llibres, còmics i merchandising. 🎲 Zones de jocs de taula i de rol, tornejos de Magic, videojocs, photocalls temàtics, signatures de llibres i activitats familiars. 🎬 Exhibicions com la coreografia de Star Wars, lluites amb sabres de llum, i sessions de Random Play Dance de K-pop. 🛡️ Academia Jedi, demostracions de SoftCombat, tallers creatius, espais per a il·lustradores i podcasts en viu. 🧙 Quedada de cosplay, amb personatges de fantasia, manga, ciència-ficció i molt més. Amb el suport d’entitats com StarFans, Eix Jove, SoftCombat Barcelona i moltes altres, el Dia de l’Orgull Friki és molt més que una festa: és un homenatge a la cultura friki com a espai de creativitat, comunitat i expressió lliure. 🎭 Fort Pienc Escena Friki: el nostre escenari friki Des d’Eix Fort Pienc estem encantats de participar en aquesta cita imprescindible amb una edició especial del nostre festival d’arts escèniques: Fort Pienc Escena Friki, la versió temàtica del ja consolidat Fort Pienc Escènik, que organitzem des de 2017. A la tarda dinamitzarem l’escenari principal amb una programació vibrant, plena de creativitat jove i talent local: Siguis mag, Jedi, otaku o aventurer galàctic… aquest diumenge el teu lloc és aquí. T’hi esperem amb música, dansa, espectacles i una comunitat carregada de creativitat i bon rotllo. *** **[QUÉ ES EL SOFTCOMBAT?](https://youtu.be/Essu82NpRvc)** El Softcombat és una activitat esportiva en la qual, mitjançant armes embuatades (conegudes com boffers), es recreen combats medievals, es practiquen jocs d'equip i s'aprenen moviments marcials de combat. El Rol en Viu consisteix a afegir-li una acció més teatral i dramàtica a aquests enfrontaments. Si t'interessa aprendre a combatre, emular les lluites de les teves pel·lícules favorites, lluitar amb espasa, subjectar un escut, dominar els secrets de l'equilibri de peus o fer fitnes d'un mode diferent; el Softcombat i el Rol en Viu són una activitat que has de provar. **És durant el matí de 11h a 13.30h quan major quantitat de participants es reuneixen. A la tarda, es queda(a vegades) un petit grup, però no es pot garantir la seva presència fins a les 18h, sobretot a l'hivern. Recomanem anar de demà.** *** **REGLES BÀSIQUES PER AL SOFTCOMBAT** **NORMATIVA I SEGURETAT** **la participació en un esdeveniment implica l'acceptació d'aquestes:** Per a garantir la seguretat dels participants, totes les armes alienes a seran testades prèviament, conservant-se el dret a admissió de l'arma o de l'usuari. Com tot esport de contacte, cal anar amb compte i apel·lar sempre al sentit comú i a la companyonia, en inscriure's en la nostra comunitat, el participant o tutors del participant accepten la total responsabilitat de qualsevol mal, lesió, pèrdua... que pugui succeir dins dels entrenaments. **La participació en un esdeveniment implica l'acceptació d'aquestes.** 1. No estan permesos cops **ni al cap ni en els genitals.** 2. **La/s ma/ns** que subjecten l'arma fins a la nina no són blanc vàlid. 3. **No es pot estocar,** només colpejar amb el lateral de l'arma. 4. **Abans de començar** qualsevol enfrontament, cal estendre les armes, procedir a una lleugera salutació mitjançant el xoc entre aquestes. 5. **Cuida del company** amb el qual entrenes. Vigila la seva esquena i advertir-li de forats, arbres, altres persones o altres irregularitats en el terreny. 6. **Abans d'emprar qualsevol propietat aliena**, demana permís al seu propietari. Si algú trenca l'equip d'una altra persona, el propietari pot reclamar una compensació econòmica pels materials. 7. Els **menors de 14 anys** hauran d'anar acompanyats d'un adult responsable. Els menors de 16 anys hauran de portar un document emès per un tutor responsable, eximint de responsabilitat als Organitzadors (o confirmar meetup conforme l'acceptació d'aquestes normes). 8. **L'Organització no es farà responsable** de cap mena de lesió, mal o ferida que pugui succeir durant els entrenaments. 9. Diverteix-te i gaudeix, és un gran esport. 10. **L'organització es reserva el dret a vetar** la participació als qui consideri, sense haver de donar explicacions. Sobretot davant persones que hagin demostrat de manera present o passada un comportament deshonest, vexatori o frau davant l'entitat, els seus membres o equip de direcció. 11. [ENGLISH] This is a meetup formed with the intention of making connections between people interested in the Discworld series by Terry Pratchett, as well as his other works. Whether you're still working through your first Discworld books (in whatever order you decide!) or you're an experienced fan, this is an opportunity to make new friends who enjoy Discworld/Pratchett, discuss the books and characters, and branch out into other related interests as well:) We aim to ensure this is a **friendly and welcoming space for everyone** \- after all\, it's being initiated by proudly queer immigrants from different parts of the world\! We expect the main conversation languages to be **English and Spanish**, though we will not shy away from welcoming different languages into the discussion whenever possible. There is no need to have a lot of experience with Discworld, just a genuine interest in the topic. That being said, we have picked **a loose theme/topic for this month's meetup**: discussing the book "Small Gods". Don't worry if you haven't read/finished that one, it is mostly meant as a jumping off point/suggestion for conversation. The meetup continues to be suited for any and all discussion about Discworld, the rest of Terry Pratchett's work, and all of the themes that surround the series. This **FREE** event will take place at the **Biblioteca El Clot - Josep Benet by Metro Glories**, in the same building as the Museu de Disenny. It will start at around 12:45. We will have a place to sit and chat. The library closes at 14:00, so we will need to clear out by then, but there are many places to eat very closeby and anyone who would like to continue chatting and hanging out (hopefully with newly made friends!) will be welcome to have a drink or tapas together. No need to bring anything but good vibes and a willingness to make conversation, but if you want to bring any Discworld merch or other items to show off, be our guest! En esta ocasión, junto a los amigos de **Slow Lab**, desplazamos nuestra mirada de la instrumentación técnica hacia la **sincronización con el entorno**, explorando el clima (en este caso el sol) como nuestro principal ingrediente. ​Nos trasladamos al huerto urbano de **[Green City Lab](https://greencitylab.org/?utm_source=luma)** para habitar un espacio de experimentación donde la **cocina solar** será el eje central. Reflexionaremos sobre cómo adaptarnos a un futuro más resiliente mediante el uso de energías alternativas, desafiando la inmediatez industrial para aprender a "cosechar" el calor. En esta edición, el sol y el tiempo dictarán el ritmo de la mesa, transformando el acto de cocinar en un ejercicio de soberanía, paciencia y coexistencia con los ciclos naturales. # ​¿Qué es ***Colectivo Farina?*** ​Un espacio para experimentar, degustar y cocinar colectivamente, creado por **[bifaz](https://www.instagram.com/bifazworks/?utm_source=luma).** ## ​**¿Para qué?** ​Colectivo Farina busca **reconectar con los ingredientes y retomar técnicas olvidadas** de la cocina, reduciendo artilugios y poniendo el foco en lo **manual**, lo **artesanal** e incluso lo **ancestral**. Todo desde una práctica **compartida y participativa,** donde cocinar vuelve a ser un acto colectivo, más que una ejecución individual. Desde bifaz, creemos que el comer del futuro no solo va tanto del qué cocinaremos sino del cómo y con quién, poniendo el foco en la cocina como **acto de comunidad y resistencia a la vida acelerada** que llevamos. ## ​**¿De qué va?** ​Este proyecto se compone de **encuentros culinarios** que parten de un concepto transversal (que irá variando en cada edición) con el objetivo de **reflexionar** sobre la **sostenibilidad, la cultura y el futuro** de nuestras prácticas culinarias. Todo esto se lleva a una actividad de **cocina colectiva**, donde el resultado final será, en su mayoría (pero no limitado a) pasta, usada aquí como formato versátil, accesible y profundamente comunitario. ## ​¿Por qué *Farina*? ​Del latín farīna, “harina” o “polvo fino de grano”, un ingrediente base de innumerables culturas desde el inicio de los tiempos. Económica, cotidiana y sustanciosa, la harina representa la sencillez en su máximo esplendor. Y de eso va este proyecto: de **volver a lo esencial**. De cocinar desde lo básico, sin artificios, donde **la pasta, será nuestro vehículo principal**, no por técnica, sino por lo que simboliza: unión, manualidad y un punto de partida común. ## ​Lo que NO es ​No es una cena clandestina. ​No es un taller de pasta. ​No es un restaurante. ​Aquí **tod@s somos cocineros** y nadie queda por fuera. Podrás encontrar preguntas para romper el hielo en la mesa que podrás usar si tu deseas para empezar una buena conversación. ### **Rotación** A la señal del anfitrión (campana o gong), **los chicos se mueven** a la siguiente mesa. La rotación es siempre siguiendo el orden de los números o letras que se encontrarán en las diferentes mesas: A,B,C,D,E,F... 1,2,3,4,5,6.... Al llegar a la última letra, se irá hacía la primera. **History** The history of [Blendon Woods Metro Park](https://www.metroparks.net/parks-and-trails/blendon-woods/) began long before its 1951 opening, rooted in a landscape of rugged ridges and deep ravines that made the land unsuitable for traditional farming. In 1945, a report proposing a metropolitan park system for Franklin County specifically highlighted these cliffs of Bedford Shale as some of the "wildest land in the vicinity". Following this recommendation, the recently formed park district purchased the first 229 acres in early 1949. Because the terrain was so uneven, developers had to cut a mile-and-a-half-long roadway through dense woods just to bring in heavy equipment. This initial preservation effort ensured that the mature second-growth hardwood forests remained largely untouched by the urban expansion spreading toward Westerville. Opening day arrived on Labor Day, September 3, 1951, marking Blendon Woods as the second park in the Columbus and Franklin County Metro Parks system. The final push to open was a frantic race; the State Highway Department only finished the primary gravel access road four days before the gates opened. Early staff members, consisting of just four full-time employees, had to hand-dig pit toilets and learn construction skills on the fly to build the first picnic shelters. Despite the dusty conditions and limited facilities, the park was an immediate success, drawing massive crowds from across Central Ohio. By the end of the 1950s, annual visitation had already climbed to over 190,000 people. As the surrounding suburbs grew in the 1960s, the park faced severe overcrowding that threatened its natural habitats. In response, Franklin County voters passed the first Metro Parks levy in 1960, providing the funds necessary for a decade of steady expansion. During this era, the park nearly doubled in size, growing from 264 acres to over 570 acres by 1968. Planners also addressed a critical water shortage by collaborating with the U.S. Soil and Conservation Service to build a lake in 1964. This body of water originally served as a temporary reservoir before its role shifted toward conservation and wildlife support. The 1970s marked a transition toward the specialized wildlife and educational focus for which the park is known today. In 1971, the Walden Waterfowl Refuge was established around the 11-acre Thoreau Lake, creating a sanctuary that remains restricted to provide a quiet habitat for migratory birds. A formal nature center was also developed during this period, expanding on the guided Sunday walks that had been a park staple since the early 1950s. The park’s famous "Monarch Mansion" also became a prominent fixture, starting a long tradition of raising and releasing thousands of monarch butterflies each September. These initiatives cemented the park’s reputation as a premier destination for birders and nature enthusiasts. In more recent decades, Blendon Woods has continued to modernize while maintaining its wilderness character. The 10-acre Natural Play Area was added in 2017, encouraging kids to explore the ravines and woods off-trail. This was followed by the opening of a $1.5 million inclusive playground in April 2025, designed to accommodate children of all physical abilities. The nature center also underwent major renovations to include immersive, three-dimensional exhibits and a new butterfly house. This sounds like a lot, but it will really be only a little over five miles. Blendon Woods has a few hills here and there, but it's not one of the more strenuous metro parks. **Where We'll Meet** We'll meet just in front of the Nature Center. This is about a mile into the park from the main entrance. You have to go past the Ranger Station and the Shadblow Reservable Area to get to it, so don't stop too early at the Ranger Station and get it confused with the Nature Center. **After the Hike** Afterward, we will head over to [Forbidden Root Restaurant & Brewery](https://forbiddenroot.com/restaurants/columbus-ohio/) at Easton for [drinks](https://forbiddenroot.com/restaurants/columbus-ohio/#dinner-menu) and [food](https://forbiddenroot.com/wp-content/uploads/Cbus-Food.pdf).
