Ashenbank Woods offers an excellent setting for walks throughout the year. Managed and maintained by The Woodland Trust, the woodland features several veteran trees notable for their wide trunks, hollows, and cavities. The area supports a diverse range of flora and fungi species. Walkers will also encounter the historical site of World War II bunkers; while most of the structures have been removed, remnants of four bunkers remain visible and serve as a testament to the site's history as one of 76 camps utilized by the RAF stationed at Gravesend.
