Excited to announce our new ADVANCED openplay session during the week at KCARC! Welcome to Melbourne Volleyball Academy. 🤗 **[[WHAT]]** This session is specifically for games only (no training). There will be a cap of 18 players, allowing for 3 teams of 6. Games will be played to 15 points, with a cap at 18 points. These games are intended to be played at a high-intermediate(BB)/advanced(A) level. Sunday Walk **Maribyrnong River Trail** This week we are heading over to Melbourne’s second largest river, the Maribyrnong. Here we’ll discover a popular, wide-open, walking trail alongside the picturesque banks of this old Melbourne trading port. At the halfway point, we’ll stop for coffee on the lawns of the Boathouse Cafe. **Start**: Footscray Park, Myers Rd, Footscray. **Start time**: 9.00 AM. **Parking**: Park in The Edgewater carpark, on Myers Rd. Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens Free Communal Garden Class Series GROWING MUSHROOMS In this class, we will discuss how to raise mushrooms on logs outdoors as a way to raise food in parts of your yard that are usually too shady to grow vegetables or other crops. We will discuss what mushroom species can be cultivated, what tree species they can grow on, and demonstrate how to prepare and inoculate the logs. By following these steps, you can have your own bountiful mushroom harvest!
