We're very happy to announce our next event at Café zum 1.Stock in the 21. district Floridsdorf! We're going to have a lovely life drawing session with Iris, an experienced model, with various poses between 2 and 20minutes. The café is located at Schloßhoferstraße 11, a 1minute walk from Bahnhof Floridsdorf (U6, S-Bahn). Please arrive early to secure the best seats, we start punctually at 18:00. Please bring your own drawing equipment, all you need is paper and a pen. All levels are very welcome, there are always experienced artists to help out if needed :) Price will be 5€ + drinks to support the café

Wir sehen Bilder Klimts aus seiner "Goldenen Phase", den "Kuss", Bilder von Monet, van Gogh, Munch und vielennanderen und lernen über die Zeit um 1900. Du erfährst über Zusammenhänge, Einflüsse, Bedeutungen und bekommst ein noch besseres Gefühl für diese fürbWien so wichtige Zeit. Zusammen werden wir Fragen aufwerfen und gemeinsam diesen begegnen und auch einfach zusammen uns an den vielen so hochwertigen Bildern im Oberen Belvedere erfreuen. es wird sehr nett. Join the TaiJi-QiGong weekly practise! It is open for all levels and beginner friendly. :) If you want to join please sign in/out as the class will only take place if enugh people join (min. 3, but there is additional another whattsapp group with more people joining) The price is 13€/ unit. A few more words about this practise: it consists of bodywork - specific exercises designed to release tension and stress in your body. It also includes joint opening and the actual QiGong practise. This QiGong you could call Yin-Jang QiGong, as it prepares you for TaiJi (Wu style). This means it is designed to create balance in your body and movement, restructuring old unhealthy movement patterns and aligning your body. Also central part of this practise (the most powerful one) is that it leads to inner silence, connecting you with your body and silencing your mind. In this silence many virtues as patience, respect, perseverence, discipline... arise/ are transmitted. It is especially beneficial to strngthen your ability to focus and for stress relief. The long pose will be maintained for about 5 times 20 minutes, so that it is also possible to paint in watercolor, oil, etc. Free snacks and non-alcoholic drinks are available. Our monthly meeting will be Sunday April 19th 1-4 PM This will be held at 4049 Garrett W Dr, Columbus, 43214 This is off of Olentangy River Rd, north of Riverside Hospital. This is the home of one of our members. Everyone is welcome - beginner to expert. This is a casual folding session. People will teach a few models.

Over time I'm hoping to organize a hike to all the Franklin County Metro Parks. This is the first one so if you're interested jump in! We'll start with the Canopy Walk, a cool feature of this park. Climb 100 stairs to the top - or take the elevator if stairs aren't your thing. At the top there are a bunch of things to play on - a rope bridge, a fireman pole that we can slide down - and more! About fifteen minutes there and we'll head to the natural trail, Buttonbush, Maple and Beech Trail for 2.2 miles then do a 1.7 mile loop on the paved Greenway Trail. We'll be passing our cars as we transition if you only want to do the first loop, or the second loop. Pace of around 3.5 mph but no one left behind. If there is an interest we can grab lunch nearby afterward.
