Tabletop Tuesdays (Chance to Win a Free Game)
Tabletop Tuesday brings you some of the best and friendliest gaming in London. If youโre looking to meet new friends, play games in a welcoming community and be in with a chance to win fantastic prizes, come along to Loading (Stoke Newington) on a Tuesday evening for one of Londonโs best game nights.
Our crew will help you find a game, make friends and have lots of fun. Just ask for Tim at the bar and weโll help you get settled in. You're welcome to bring your own games or take advantage of the fantastic library of games we have at the bar โ all for free!
Feature Game: Each week we feature a different game. There is usually the opportunity to win a copy of this game just by playing it on the night. Everyone that plays the feature game is entered into a free prize draw near the end of the evening. Weโll be increasing the frequency of this back to a weekly basis as soon as our stocks allow.
Regular Features: Note that every Tuesday we will now be featuring casual play for Star Wars Unlimited โ with official and non-official prizes available (while stocks last.) Training also available for any Padawans looking to learn the game.

Circling drop in evening
Circling is a present-moment relational awareness practice. Weโre bringing our attention to whatโs unfolding in real time, repeatedly returning to whatโs happening within ourselves, between us and in the shared space of the group.
We practice approaching our own experience and the experience of others with curiosity, becoming more aware of the subtleties of what is present. The emphasis is on staying in contact with your experience as it unfolds. The unfolding may be quiet and internal or it may lead to words โ naming sensations, thoughts, emotions, impulses or perceptions. It might also include movement or other non-verbal expression. The idea is not to try to change whatโs there, but to become more aware of what it is and how we are meeting it and relating to it in the moment.
Often awareness follows expression and this is okay too. We are all swimming in the ocean of the unknown. Occasionally the whale lifts its head above the surface and we catch a glimpse โ a moment of seeing something about ourselves that we hadnโt noticed before.
Over time, many people find that this kind of awareness practice deepens their sense of aliveness and helps them notice patterns in how they relate to themselves and others. With ongoing practice, some people discover an increased capacity to be with themselves and others in a more conscious, grounded, flexible and responsive way โ where we can experience ourselves as active participants in our lives rather than passive reactors to what is happening internally or around us.
Both those new to Circling and those with more experience are very welcome.

**Facilitation and Terms of Service**
This is a facilitated group practice but not group therapy and not psychotherapy. Because of my NARM background and own personal journey, I value personal choice, agency and emergent self-awareness. Participants are encouraged to stay connected to their own pace and to keep checking in with themselves throughout the practice โ noticing what feels supportive, what feels like too much, and what they may need in any moment.
Thereโs no expectation to be vulnerable or to share anything that feels too personal or emotional and you are always welcome to speak, remain silent, pause, step back and take a break, leave or ask for what you want, including asking for support. Participants are also invited to respect one anotherโs pace and boundaries.
The intention of my Circling leadership is to support myself and people in staying present with their experience while in relationship with others, and to develop greater awareness of how they are meeting that experience. Having said that, like solo meditation, itโs normal that we will all repeatedly lose presence and Circling can sometimes evoke strong emotions or reactions in people which can be difficult for them and challenging for others in the space to navigate. If you find the prospect of this potentially destabilising or overwhelming, or if you are currently experiencing significant emotional distress or instability in your life that might be exacerbated by this type of group environment, or if you are unsure youโll be able to take care of yourself and ensure the practice works for you, then please contact me before registering so we can discuss further.

Each session includes a short check-in, followed by guided abdominal breathing, grounding exercises, and simple mindful movement, with space to gently return to yourself. Weโll close with a brief check-out.
The previous in-person sessions have been heartwarming, thoughtful, and powerful, and the feedback from the session in March makes me feel it's important to keep opening up a space, however small. Where we can slow down and listen inward.
This is a quiet, supportive space. You donโt need any experience, just a willingness to pause and be with yourself for a moment.
#### *What to prepare:* A quiet space, comfortable clothing, and the option to sit or lie down. A bottle of water and a space where you can move your arms freely.**

Join us at the top of the biggest bookshop in Europe to work in company on your own writing, be it a book, blog, screenplay, dissertation, poem, song, coursework, memoir, play, journal, travel writing, work stuff or anything else. Newcomers always welcome. No one will see what you're writing or give you unsolicited advice.

Free In-Person Events: How to Let Go of the Past and Move Forward
The emotional pain from past bad experiences easily lingers in the present, making it hard to enjoy life and create your future. Even when you think you've moved on, the negative emotions can be triggered, sending you back into the pain of that experience.
And we are talking about pain; emotions such as grief, depression, anxiety, fear (or terror), boiling anger, simmering resentment, feelings of shame, blaming and regret can leave you incapacitated to a greater or lesser degree.
In this local event we will be discussing the reasons why these past bad experiences have the power to affect you long after they occurred. We'll go over why the emotional pain can be so strong. We'll also discuss some simple solutions to overcome your emotional pain and be free to fully enjoy your life again.
Examples of painful experiences include:
* A broken relationship or divorce.
* Death or loss of a loved one.
* Death of a pet.
* A sudden shock or bad news.
* A betrayal.
* Being part of an abusive relationship.
* A bad injustice.
* Loss of a job, position or business.
* A grave illness or injury.
The negative emotions from these experiences don't just go away on their own. But the good news is there is a way to clear them out of your way.

Free In-person Meeting: Unwanted Emotions & Loneliness, How to Get Over Them
This is an in-person meeting.
Did you know that unwanted emotions like loneliness, sadness, hopelessness, anger, fear, anxiety, or feelings of irritation donโt just fall on you for no reason. They are not random occurrences that simply happen to people's minds. They are definitely not chemical imbalance in your brain due to some nebulous chemical reactions by chance.
Your negative emotions are the symptoms of the painful experiences that you have which are not healed, and which are still affecting you.
The effects of these painful experiences are exacerbated by the pressures or difficulties of the other problems in your life.
For instance, let's say you are already carrying a huge load on your back, then you cannot take on much more, but, let's say something else happens to you, such as the difficulties from the Pandemic, then the resultant combined weight on you can take you over the edge, kind of like the straw that break the camel's back. When this happens, people's attention usually goes to the straw that was added, but actually the majority of the weight had come from the huge load that were already there, holding a person down and causing a person issues.
So how do you remove the huge load that was already there? How do you lighten them up? Is it possible to get rid of them?
That is what this meeting will be all about.
Come to our Meetup, where we can introduce you to some of the knowledge, tools and techniques of the breakthroughs in the field of the mind that we can apply to this ever important area of life.
