You may suffer from High Altitude Sickness in the beginning days of your Tibet trip. But don’t worry too much, **the high altitude can be acclimatized usually in 2\~3 days**. Our suggestion is to take a physical examination and get suggestions from your doctor, and medicines like aspirin is helpful to ease the headache. (drinking coke is also helpful). While in Tibet, you should **keep warm all the time**, avoid running, drink more water and eat more vegetables and carbohydrates. We suggest you to not take showers during the first day after your arrival at Tibet. If you don’t feel well, get help from your tour guide or go to the hospital without any delay.

Language Mix is back on Saturday! We're all about getting a drink with interesting people from different linguistic backgrounds. This event is for speaking ANY language--don't worry if you don't speak Chinese! *** How does it work? --- Simple. You just find the registration table when you enter, put on some flag stickers that represent your native language and the languages you want to learn, get a drink of your choice, and use the stickers to find someone to talk to! We recommend showing up on time if possible, but any time is fine. No one will see what you've written or give you unsolicited advice.
