Public speaking and improv acting for young adults (under 32)
Public speaking and improv acting for young adults (under 32)
Are you someone aged between 18-32 who is looking to get out of your comfort zone and become a more confident version of yourself this new year? At TheVibeCheck, we provide a forum where young adults can become more confident versions of themselves and build more meaningful connections with others. We believe this can be progressively achieved through a range of exercises focusing on public speaking, improve and debating. We understand that it can be quite difficult and daunting to meet and develop relationships with people around us. So why should you attend a TheVibeCheck session? · **We specifically tailor our sessions to young adults (aged 18-32)** with a common goal of improving themselves and making meaningful connections with people. Although we welcome all levels of expertise, our sessions are namely designed for young adults who have little to no experience in public speaking, improv and debating. · **We provide a safe and intimate space where you can fully express yourself**, learn from your mistakes and make friends with like-minded individuals. · We focus on a unique blend of public speaking, improv and debating exercises, **equipping you with a range of important skillsets**. A typical session can include icebreakers, warm-up exercises, public speaking exercises, improv acting, feedback and reflections. **If this event appeals to you, make sure to purchase tickets ASAP as spaces are limited!**

Join us for some focused writing time. All writers and all experience levels are welcome and don’t worry, no one will see what you've written. This session is about getting your writing done and meeting other writers in your area. When you show up, say hello to everyone, grab a drink, and get your writing tools ready. Once you’re all settled, take some time to chat with your fellow writers. Once everyone’s arrived, I will lead quick introductions and then set the timer for our quiet and focused writing session. If you don’t have time to stick around, no worries! **A note about the format** We don’t host critiques or readings. Bermondsey Beer Mile | ADHD Social | London | Everyone Welcome
Bermondsey Beer Mile | ADHD Social | London | Everyone Welcome
**Brews and Lose... Track of Time!** Bermondsey Beer Mile. Relaxed pace. Visit craft brewery tap rooms in ancient industrial London. It really is a lovely walk, lots of Victorian buildings, murals, art, etc. As with all our events, you **do not** need an ADHD diagnosis. Come as you are, meet nice, quirky people. We will attempt to visit several of the taprooms in a loosely sequential order. I strongly recommend having thirds or halves of a pint! Some of us will succeed. To keep you in sustenance, there will be assorted food places along the route. We start at [The Kernal Taproom,](https://share.google/c3sPrvF5jXxSsbwGJ) and finish up around London Bridge where... who knows what may happen next, **What will definitely happen:** - At least one person will show up to the wrong place - Someone will spend forty minutes reading the entire tap list and order a basic bitch Fosters/Carling - A conversation will begin, go completely off-piste, and never return to the original point - Someone will announce they're leaving and still be there an hour later - We will collectively lose track of time, money, and the thread of at least six conversations **What will probably not happen:** - Not everyone arriving on time - Leaving when we said we would - Remembering what the plan was - But we will try. **Directions:** Meet at [The Kernal taproom ](https://share.google/c3sPrvF5jXxSsbwGJ) preferably at 12, before the rush. Nearest Tube: Bermondsey - Jubilee Line Our WhatsApp group: [Message us here](https://chat.whatsapp.com/EQgW6gtwMhh2kPgP7CyrBK) READ THE GUIDE!! This is a proudly consent-led space.

Neuroinclusive Speed Dating for Friends
**Next events:** **📅 6th June & 1st August 2026** **🕑 1:30pm to 5:30pm** **📍 The Station Master, Marylebone (New venue! 🔔 😁)** **What is Daisy?** Daisy is a neuroinclusive, relaxed, low pressure afternoon where you meet people one at a time. This event is ticketed and open to the public Everyone gets a short profile on our app, so when you sit down with someone new & scan their QR code you can see a bit about them before you start talking. At the end of the chat you can discreetly indicate who you’d like to stay in touch with on the app, and there’s also a separate box if you felt something sparky. Only mutual interests are revealed, so no awkwardness. If you prefer old school, there’s a paper format too. **Neuroinclusive** Conversation cards are at each table so you don’t have to worry about your mind going blank. Lots of people use them as a backup rather than relying on them throughout, but they’re there if you need them. We have hosts to look after you & a quiet area to decompress (with adult colouring in) Professional compère The event is professionally hosted by a compère, and there will also be individual hosts facilitating, guiding, and supporting throughout. Every ticket includes a welcome drink token, and there’s a raffle on the day where you can win a drink for you and someone else at the event. **What’s new?** For those who have been before, here’s what’s changed: We have a brand new venue, The Station Master in Marylebone, one min from the station. You can order food there, which wasn’t possible before, and during the breaks there’s pool, giant Jenga, and Digital Darts if you fancy it. We’re still using the app which got a lot of good feedback but it has been refined so it’s compatible with all the phone models We removed the group bells last time after feedback, and people much preferred having individual timers. This time the timers are sand timers on the table rather than on the app, a gentle, low pressure way to indicate it’s time to move on. Activities during the break & mixer - digital darts, pool, giant jenga & colouring Paper forms for those who prefer to go old school **Welcome drink token as part of the ticket price** **Tickets🎫** **Daisy6June.eventbrite.com** **Daisy1Aug.eventbrite.com** **JOIN OUR COMMUNITY ON [CLYX](https://link.clyx.app/7xCe/daisy_connections) FOR MORE INFO AND TICKETS.** **Copy and paste url if link doesn't work:** https://link.clyx.app/7xCe/daisy_connections
