Come to Arlington Central Library to meet some chronically ill friends! Members suffer from conditions including ME/CFS, long covid, multiple sclerosis, ulcerative colitis, autoimmune kidney disease, POTS, psoriatic arthritis, Ehlers Danlos, genetic heart conditions, and more. We'll be doing some relaxed coloring book activities. We will have hike leaders mixed within the group and we will stop periodically for water and rest. **WHAT TYPE OF HIKE IS THIS:** This is a loop trail hike and will start and end at the same location **ARE PETS ALLOWED:** Yes **IS PARKING FREE:** Parking is free but we suggest you arrive as early as possible to secure a good parking space **WHAT SHOULD I WEAR:** A good rule of thumb is to dress comfortably and in layers. Dressing in layers will allow you to stay warm when your cold and as you warm up, you can take off layers and not over heat. Let's go for a New Years Urban hike around the monuments. We'll loop around starting at WW2 memorial (I will post which flag I'm in front of when I arrive). We'll walk to the tidal basin and around to Jefferson, Roosevelt, MLK, Lincoln and back to WW2. Please check the weather and dress comfortably. Bring water and a snack if needed.
