Now, I want to create that same environment for others, in the way that feels most natural to me—over food. Food is how I unwind after a long day at work, how I stay close to home, and how I learn about new cultures—whether I’m adapting foreign flavors to my restricted chicken-etarian diet or my boyfriend’s vegan one. I have found that while pub catch-ups with friends are fun, the most organic and enriching conversations and connections happen in a homely environment around a shared table of food. My supper club is about bringing people together for good drinks, comforting fusion food, ice-breaker games, and workshops with kind, curious people. Come hungry.
