**Our story**
In 2019 we started organizing meetups for creators & influencer in Berlin, and we became big fans of the people we brought together and the topics that were discussed. So we expanded to London early 2020, and as the pandemic started, we became a home for creators worldwide.
Now, in 2025, we do our events in multiple cities and countries and are expanding to more and more countries. Wherever we are, influencers & creators connect, learn, and grow. Sometimes creators join us and share insights in lightning talks, and each time we all go home with new, interesting connections!

Is the Design Process Really "Dead"? | Product Management Society x Miro Meetups
***đ Link to registration: [https://luma.com/s8mfiusl](https://luma.com/s8mfiusl)***
Weâre excited to invite you to a special edition of our next meetup - for the first time ever, Product Management Society Berlin is teaming up with Miro đ¤
This session will explore a timely topic: the future of the design process in an era of rapidly increasing production speed. While some chief designers at major companies have declared the design process âdeadâ or no longer fit for todayâs pace, others strongly disagree. What changes when prototypes can be created in minutes? What are the limits? What remains essential?
In the first part, weâll open the floor to different perspectives from across the room. In the second part, weâll work together to explore and shape ideas for a more resilient design process.
Whether you're a PM, designer, or simply curious, youâre very welcome to join the discussion and contribute your ideas.
đ Spots are limited - register on Luma using the link above ^
Looking forward to seeing you there!

**From ClickOps to Scalable Platform**
For engineers and engineering leaders, on culture and decision making.
Abstract
We ran everything in one Azure subscription. Leads and sales, installations and steering energy systems. Everyone had access. Most resources were created manually. It was unclear who owned what.
As the tech org grew from 100 to 300 people, reinventing security and scaling individually stopped working.
We'll cover how we approached platform building as gardeners rather than architects: observing what already works, replicating it, and letting rituals emerge before encoding them. We'll look at some mistakes we made along the way and what we learned from each.
*Dayana Mick*
**It works⌠but no one understands it: The hidden problem in DevOps**
For several years, I kept asking the same question to senior developers, staff engineers, and mentors: âWhat is a build?â I rarely got a clear answer. Not because people didnât know, but because the mental model had faded somewhere between Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, and âjust run this command.â
At some point, I realized I could run pipelines, deploy services, and fix things just enough to move forward, but explaining what was actually happening was much harder. And I was not the only one.
This talk is about a pattern Iâve seen across every company Iâve worked at. Systems that work, but are not really understood. Teams running platform commands from memory. Platform teams becoming bottlenecks. Incidents where even experienced engineers hesitate. And situations where people rely on tools without a clear sense of what is actually happening underneath. With AI, this is only accelerating.
This is a talk for anyone who has ever copy-pasted a command, watched it work, and decided not to ask further questions. It is especially relevant for junior and mid-level engineers navigating DevOps complexity, and for teams who are trying to scale tooling without losing shared understanding.
AI in the Wild: From Engineering Reality to the Future of Work
Are you a software engineer, product owner, or HR professional navigating the shift toward an AI-driven world? Join us for an in-person meetup in Berlin, where we bridge the gap between high-stakes AI implementation and the rapidly evolving European labor market.
đ Special thanks to our host, Blue Card Agency, for supporting the community and providing the venue for this event!
đ Agenda
đš Welcome & Intro A brief opening by our hosts from Blue Card Agency.
đš Talk 1: "Beyond the LLM Hype: Process Discovery is the Real Bottleneck"
Speaker: Patrick Bunk, Co-Founder & Lead Architect
Automating 120k PDF forms a year in a regulated manufacturing environment isn't just about "reading text" â it's about surviving the messy reality of human logic. In this talk, weâll dive into a real production case where the biggest challenge wasn't the model, but the "uncomfortable truth": rules live in peopleâs heads, exceptions conflict, and "correct" is negotiable until you write it down.
đš Talk 2: "The Present and Future of the Labor Market with AI"
Speaker: Milana Alenina, HR Partner
How is AI actually changing the way companies hire and value work? Weâll explore the structural shifts happening right now in the European market, from the need for candidates to be "machine-readable" to how organizations are redesigning themselves to fit the new reality.
âĄď¸ Whatâs in it for you?
Weâre skipping the surface-level AI hype to talk about whatâs actually happening in the trenches. Come for the real-world war stories of automating regulated workflows, stay for a brutally honest look at how AI is rewriting the rules of recruitment and organizational value in Europe. It's a chance to cut through the "vibes" and see the actual mechanics of the shift â followed by drinks and networking with fellow builders and strategists.
đ Attendance is free, but spots are limited â register now to save yours!
đ
Date: 21st of April
đ Location: ZiegelstraĂe 2, Berlin
đ¤ About the Speakers:
Patrick Bunk, Co-Founder & Lead Architect â Expert in building robust AI pipelines and navigating the complexities of high-stakes automation.

The first quadrant in astrology and spring signs: Aries, Taurus & Gemini
In this session we'll be discussing the first quadrant in astrology - the first, second and third houses, as well as the spring signs, Aries, Taurus and Gemini.
In astrology, the **First Quadrant** is all about **the development of the self**âyour identity, instincts, and how you begin interacting with the world. It covers the first three houses of the birth chart and represents the earliest stage of personal growth.
This section of the chart is often called the **âpersonal quadrantâ** because it focuses on **self-awareness and individual needs**, before we fully engage with others.
## The Bigger Meaning of the First Quadrant
Together, these houses describe a journey:
1. **Discover yourself** (1st House)
2. **Establish your worth and resources** (2nd House)
3. **Learn to interact and communicate** (3rd House)
Itâs like the **early stage of life development**âfrom being born, to understanding your needs, to starting to speak and relate.
We will also be looking at the spring signs and the most significant upcoming transits such as the impressive Aries stellium in April, Uranus' ingress into Gemini (it will stay in the sign until 2033) and Chiron's ingress into Taurus in June.
**Guidelines**:
â Start: 18:30 sharp (arrive earlier if you like)
â Please stay on the topic of astrology
â Respect, warmth, and honesty are essential
â Kindly RSVP in advance, as we need to confirm with the venue
Warm regards,
Finja, Maca, Sara & Julian

Practical observations on performance, legitimacy, and leadership
**ESMT Insight Hour with Paul M. Achleitner**
**Schedule:**
5:30 p.m. - Registration opens
6:00 p.m. - Welcome from host, ESMT Berlin
6:05 p.m. - Talk of Paul M. Achleitner
6:30 p.m. - Discussion and Q&A
7:00 p.m. - Networking, drinks and nibbles will be provided
8:30 p.m. - Close
Experience used to accumulate slowly. Today, decisions travel instantly, legitimacy can evaporate overnight, and leaders operate under permanent public scrutiny.
So how do you lead and stay legitimate in a world that no longer feels stable?
In this ESMT Insight Hour, **[Paul M. Achleitner](https://www.linkedin.com/in/paul-achleitner/)** joins us for a moderated conversation on leadership, corporate legitimacy, and performance in times of geopolitical disruption, digital transparency, and shifting societal expectations.
Drawing on more than four decades across Goldman Sachs, Allianz, Deutsche Bank, and multiple supervisory boards, and reflecting the themes of his recent book,âŻ*Accelerate Your Experience: Principles for Success in a Fluid World*, Achleitner proposes three interconnected dimensions of modern management:
* **Legitimacy**âŻâ why companies must earn their place in society beyond financial performance
* **Performance**âŻâ how sustained value creation requires focus, discipline, and strategic clarity
* **Leadership**âŻâ what integrity, intellectual humility, and judgment mean in an era of permanent visibility
Rather than offering prescriptions, he distills experience into principles on stakeholder dynamics, public attention, geopolitical disruption, AI, crisis management, and the realities of âmuddling through.â
The conversation will explore:
* Why legitimacy has become the decisive constraint for corporations
* How leaders balance long-term value creation with short-term scrutiny
* What performance really means when underperformance becomes normalized
* The evolving role of boards in turbulent environments
* Whether experience can, in fact, be âacceleratedâ
Join us for an hour of reflection on leadership under pressure and on what it takes to remain effective, credible, and resilient.

**Everyone is racing to build with AI. But who is building it responsibly?**
There's a gold rush happening in tech right now and almost everyone is caught up in the excitement. AI features are being shipped at a rapid speed, products are being "enhanced" with machine intelligence overnight, and the pressure to move fast has never been higher.
But in the rush to innovate, some critical questions are getting buried: *Who's accountable when AI gets it wrong? How much should we hand over to automation and what do we silently lose when we do? And what are the risks we're not even seeing yet?*
These aren't hypothetical concerns. They're live, urgent, and sitting inside the products we're building right now.
**It's time to have the conversation that some teams are avoiding.**
UXDX Berlin is back! Join us at the GetYourGuide office in Prenzlauer Berg, where we will tackle the theme that every designer, researcher, and engineer needs to reckon with:
**"Designing Responsible AI: Trust, Autonomy & Hidden Risk"**
**Why This Event Matters**
The tools are powerful. The timelines are short. The consequences for users, for society, for trust in technology are long. If you're building products with AI, this isn't an optional conversation. It's the one you need to be in the room for.
**Come ready to think. Come ready to question. Come ready to build better.**

Prompt vs. Paintbrush
AI is changing how art is made. But when does it stop being your work and start being the machineâs?
This month we're going to be doing a panel with with digital image, music, and written word artists, talking about at what point, while using AI in the creation process, does the work become not the artist creation?
We encourage audience participation during this event that will be moderated by Chris Slee.
Whether youâre deep in the field or just getting curious, come connect with others building and exploring AI in Columbus.

HTML5 Master Series (Class 04 of 04) (SPECIAL OFFERING)
**PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING IMPORTANT NOTES:**
1. The dates listed for this series are about 95% reliable. We are completing our 2026 schedule as we speak, so minor adjustments are still occurring.
2. Each class in this series has an attendance fee, though this first offering is free on a first-come, first-served basis.
3. Each class, from BOTH a sign-up and fee perspective, is a separate entity.
**Introduction:**
HTML5 is the foundational technology for modern web development, serving as the standard markup language for structuring and presenting content on the World Wide Web. Developed through a collaboration between the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) and the Web Hypertext Application Technology Working Group (WHATWG), HTML5 provides a robust system of elements (tags) that tell a browser how to display text, images, and multimedia in a clear and meaningful way. It works in concert with Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) for presentation and JavaScript for interactivity, forming the core technology stack for virtually all websites and many web applications today.
One of the significant advancements of HTML5 is the introduction of powerful new features and elements designed to improve functionality and simplify development. Key additions include native multimedia support via the \ and \ tags, allowing developers to embed media without third-party plugins. It also offers new form controls for better user input, such as date and email types, and introduces web storage capabilities to store data offline for enhanced performance. These features streamline the process of building rich, interactive web experiences.
A significant focus of HTML5 is enhanced semantics and better structural organization of content. New semantic elements like , , , , and \ provide meaningful structure to documents, which aids in search engine optimization (SEO) and improves accessibility for assistive technologies. These elements define different parts of a webpage (e.g., a header for the top, a nav for navigation links, a footer for the bottom), making the code more readable and understandable for both developers and machines. This emphasis on clear structure helps in creating more logical and maintainable websites.
Developing websites in today's competitive environment requires taking advantage of every technique you can to get the maximum exposure possible. Our HTML5 class will not only show you what's new in the HTML specification, but also the best way to develop optimized web pages that get the attention your client and/or company requires.
**The breakdown of the four-class series is as follows:**
**Class 1: Introduction to Web Structure and Basic HTML5**
This class introduces the core concepts of web development, the history of HTML, and the fundamental structure of an HTML5 document.
* **Topics**:
* **Web Architecture Overview**: How browsers, servers, and web pages interact.
* **HTML Fundamentals**: Understanding elements, tags, and attributes.
* **Basic Document Structure**: Using !DOCTYPE html, html, head, and body.
* **Text Formatting**: Headings (h1 to h6), paragraphs (p), and text-level semantics (e.g., strong, em, br).
* **Lists and Links**: Creating ordered (ol) and unordered (ul) lists, and linking between pages using anchor tags (a).
* **Activity**: Students create a basic personal webpage containing text, a list of hobbies, and a link to an external website.
**Class 2: Semantic HTML5 and Multimedia Integration**
Class 2 focuses on modern HTML5 elements that provide meaning (semantics) to content, improving accessibility and search engine optimization. It also covers adding images and multimedia.
* **Topics**:
* **Semantic Elements**: Understanding and implementing elements like header, footer, nav, section, and article.
* **Images**: Adding images using the img tag and attributes like src, alt, width, and height.
* **Multimedia**: Embedding audio and video content using the audio and video tags.
* **File and Folder Structure**: Best practices for organizing project files and managing file paths.
* **Activity**: Students refactor their Class 1 project to use a proper semantic layout and add an image and a link to a video file.
**Class 3: Forms and User Input**
This session is dedicated to building interactive HTML5 forms, which are essential for capturing user data and input.
* **Topics**:
* **Form Basics**: Using the form element, action and method attributes.
* **Input Types**: Exploring various input types (e.g., text, password, checkbox, radio, date, submit).
* **Form Elements**: Utilizing label, textarea, select, option, and button.

The final class introduces Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) to style the HTML content and make the web pages visually appealing and accessible.
* **Topics**:
* **CSS Fundamentals**: The role of CSS, selectors, properties, and values.
* **Integrating CSS**: Using inline, internal, and external style sheets.
* **The Box Model**: Understanding margin, padding, border, and content for basic layout.
* **Basic Styling**: Changing colors, fonts, and text alignment.
* **Accessibility Basics**: Identifying principles of web design usability and accessibility, including ARIA labels.
* **Activity**: Students apply an external CSS file to their Class 3 form project to style the layout, colors, and fonts, culminating in a well-structured and styled webpage.
Men's Group meetup
**The idea for this group is to build a community where men can gather together and build connections & learn and grow from each other.**
How we start each meeting is by each of us checking in with our "roses and thorns" aka what are the good things and the bad things going on in your life recently?
Then we will go into a topic discussion.
