We’ll be hosting casual Riftbound nights, specifically geared towards beginners and casual players. **TIME:** 6:00PM-9:00PM **PRIZING:** 1 participation promo pack for attendance Bring a 40–60 card deck, and battle in a casual multiplayer environment. Players compete to score points by controlling battlefields with units, spells, and gear, with the first to reach eight points winning. The game is designed to be easy to learn and supports both one-on-one and multiplayer (up to four players) games.

Welcome to the Saturday meetup for Toronto Heavy Boardgamers @ The Guild House! The purpose of this event is to meet up to play heavier / longer board games, and have fun while doing it! We will start off small and if there is sufficient interest we will add capacity for future events. This is an opportunity to meet up for some LGBTQ2IA-flavoured gaming and socializing—allies also welcome. Come for the gaming, socializing, and the drinks! :) Be sure to invite friends and such, too. We’ll be in the larger area towards the back. Event officially runs from 4pm to 7pm, at which point we start to pack away the games, clearing up before the band takes the stage (9:30-10pm). You'll have access to a robust library of board games, and attendees are welcome to bring their own games. There is no event fee. Instead we ask attendees to purchase beverages from the venue, Penny's Bar, conveniently located beside Lansdowne subway station at 1306 Bloor St. West. Spend a day outside playing softball, having a drink, and actually enjoying being out with people. The **Starter Series** is a beginner-first session designed to help you learn the game in a relaxed, low-pressure setting. No experience needed. No expectations. We’ll walk you through the basics, then get you into a **paced, beginner-friendly game** so you can actually play without feeling overwhelmed. The Forge does have a full bar and kitchen. There is no cover charge but they do request all attendees to purchase a minimum of ~20 per person. Soft drink refills are 1 each. Please support our hosts so we can continue to provide great events for the group! The Forge has a large library of games available for us to enjoy. Hosts and regulars will also provide numerous popular games but please bring any games you would like to teach and/or play. Doors open at 6, and we expect gaming to be rolling by around 630. Please promptly end your games and clear out the space at 10pm when the bar closes. We encourage socializing but do not permit disruptive behavior of any kind. Thank you for your continued commitment to providing a fun and welcoming space to veteran, newbie, and rookie gamers in the Columbus area. Parking can sometimes fill esrly. There is additional parking lot behind the neighboring Mexican restaurant that is free and easy to walk from but it's a bit hidden.
