Hi yogis! I’m Christina, it has been teaching yoga for over 10 years and regularly volunteering yoga class in the Fitfam community for more than four years. This yoga class is chill, simple, and mainly focuses on relaxation for our bodies. Welcome anyone who with yoga experience or beginner. •Bring your own yoga mat •small towel to assist with stretching •wear comfortable outfit •water we used to meet on the square, there’s the Legislative Council building in the background,close to Harbor,if you can’t find location feel free to text me or leave messages in the fitfam group ***Please pay your attention on the weather, the information from the fitfam WhatsApp group and here*** If the weather is bad, it might change the location to the Central peir 9 or 10 at an hour prior tot he start time IF you cannot make the lesson, please remove your spot. Last year, we kicked off our workout journey at the Hoi Bun Rd Park with a small group of ~-10 dedicated regulars. But now, we're ready to amp it up with Fitfam and fill that Thursday void with some serious fitness fun! 🏋🏻‍♂️🏋🏻‍♂️🏋🏻‍♂️ 
And hey, it's not just about the sweat and muscles (although those are definitely a bonus). It's also a fantastic opportunity to expand your network 🕸🕸🕸 and mingle with like-minded professionals in the area, e.g. folks at the Citi Tower, Quayside, and more! 🌇🏙🌇 
So, what's in store for you during our workout session? Get ready for a heart-pumping, calorie-crushing 1-hour HIIT/CrossFit extravaganza suitable for all fitness levels. 🥇🥈🥉 Don't forget to bring plenty of water to stay hydrated, and if you have a yoga mat lying around, feel free to bring it along (totally optional though). 
We've got ~10 regulars outside of Fitfam who don't always sign up on Meetup, so don't be discouraged if you're the first and only one to register. We promise you won't be alone in this fitness adventure! 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️

**Hike: Tai Po Kau Forest Hike (Yellow Trail 10 km & Blue Trail 4 km)** **Difficulty Level:** 3 out of 5 **Distance:** 14 km (approximate) **Time:** 5 hours (approximate) **Description:** Join us for an exciting day at Tai Po Kau Nature Reserve, where we’ll hike a total of 14 kilometers by combining the yellow trail and the blue trail. The yellow trail covers 10 kilometers and takes you deep into a vibrant subtropical forest. You’ll walk beneath a beautiful canopy of banyan and camphor trees that create a calming green atmosphere. After completing the yellow trail, we’ll tackle the blue trail, a 4-kilometer loop that’s perfect for getting up close with the reserve’s diverse plant and animal life. Both trails offer a chance to spot various birds and enjoy the peaceful surroundings away from the city. **What to bring:** * 2-3 liters of water (water available for sale along the way) * Snacks to eat along the way (sandwich, fruits, nuts, etc) * Comfortable shoes * Sunglasses * Headgear (cap/hat) * Sunscreen * Bug Spray * In case of Rain: plan accordingly **Toilets:** The Tai Wai MTR station will have a toilet before you exit the turnstalls. **Stores:** The Tai Wai MTR station will have stores for you to buy any last minute items. It is best to come prepared with water and snacks. **Meeting Point:** Tai Wai MTR - B. Once everyone arrives, we'll take bus 72A and alight at Chung Tsai Yuen. If everyone agrees for the faster option, we can opt to take a taxi to the trailhead. **Time:** 10:00 am (SHARP!) **IMPORTANT:** Out of respect to the members that arrive on time, we will only be able to wait a maximum of 5 minutes. Should you arrive after 10:05 am, I will no longer be answering phone calls or responding to messages as I need to give my time and attention to those that have arrived on time.

if you’re **tired of doing the same boring thing** every weekend, this is your excuse to **do something different.** This is **not just a comedy show.** It’s a full **Saturday night experience** at Shadybowl Speedway — a **BYOB** potluck cookout, **live racing,** a late-night **bonfire**, open mic **comedy under the stars**, and **free camping** if you want to stay the night. We’re basically **throwing a party in the middle of nowhere** — about an hour west of Columbus and an hour north of Dayton ### The experience **Start early with the cookout** Come out around **4:00 PM** for a potluck-style cookout. Bring something to share, hang out, have a few drinks, and meet people before the night gets rolling. **Then head into the races** Racing starts around **7:00–8:00 PM** at Shadybowl. **Bring a chair** and sit with us in **Turn 4** — best seats in the house. **in front of concrete spots** 58,59 **ask for Chance** Think **racing isn’t your thing?** That’s fine. **Bring something to drink** and come for the atmosphere, the noise, and **the wrecks.** **Then the real vibe kicks in** Once the races wind down, we head back to the fire for **Late Night Bonfire Comedy** starting around **11:30 PM**. This is open mic style, so you might catch comics traveling through, a local favorite, somebody trying stand-up for the first time. Either way, **you’re getting laughs around a bonfire** with drinks, good people, and nowhere else to be. **Stay the night if you want** No rush. **We'll hike 3.4 miles on the Killdeer and Yellowlegs Trails - both out and back gravel trails. If we want more mileage we can repeat an out and back. Pace of around 3.5 mph, no one left behind and those who want to go faster sure can!** **As always optional lunch after.** **This is the second Metro Park in the lineup - with 21 to go (plus more are being added).** **Also I have a conflict and am not available so have asked Karin to lead!**

This event is so well-run and festive! 6pm - Hat Parade Competition 6:50pm - Kentucky Derby Race 7-10pm - Live Music Feel free to come by earlier with your kids and grandkids for family fun til 4pm. Then some **Fun n Games**: 4-6pm Adult Horse Race Game & Beer Puppeteers. **Family Time**: 1pm Kids Horse Craft; 2-4pm Wiener Dog Races (Excited to be having wiener dog races again. This is always a lot of fun for all. We will be having several heats and then a final competition. Must sign up ahead of time by emailing megan@crookedcanohio.com) **Setting**: The Center Street Market is a locally owned and operated community market located in historic Old Hilliard that is open 7 days a week. Local products with multiple vendors that offer local food, natural, organic food, desserts, pastries, coffee and unique shopping all inside of one building. Gathering tables are indoors and outside on their huge patio! Anchored to the market is the Crooked Can Brewing Company, an on-site hand-crafted beer (plus cocktails, ciders, wine).
