We sing every week, starting at 7! You don’t need anything - we’ve got materials, tea and a great room to sing in. We start downstairs at 7 so it’s great if you can be 5 minutes early or so. Picture the Grand Ball scenes like you’ve seen in period films such as “Pride and Prejudice”, where the dancers are lined up in long lines, across from each other. That’s English Country Dancing, the predecessor of contra dancing. Now, add moves like “swing your partner” and “do-si-do,” like you’ve seen in square dancing.
